Privacy is obviously very important if you are trying to create a "cash like" system.
Do some research on something called fungibility. It is one of the core components of good sound money. Unfortunately Bitcoin is not technically fungible due to its transparency.
That said at least we can use it to buy things via Flexa now with instant payments!!
Also it is much better than lightning since we can use it in major stores and a soon to be Casino/Resort in Vegas!
