Let's be careful
All of these countries are poor and being hammered by a weak dollar. This could get messy if the US protects usd hegemony

Dumbass, try to put some news that proves your title, this is a clickbait thread because there is no evidence supporting your claim of Paraguay adopting bitcoin next month and the domino effect you are talking about is a bullshit.

Careful where? Bitcoin is decentralized so even the US will get into it, they can't control Bitcoin. The only problem here if a country like Paraguay will get into local business owners that are accepting Bitcoin and they will enforce it not to accept Bitcoin for payments, that's more the real deal.

Bitcoins are issued and managed without any central authority whatsoever: there is no government, company, or bank in charge of Bitcoin.

Thank you for the links, I make sure to read them all and also I don't think dumbass is a harsh word, we got so sensitive with things that a simple banter or insult is harsh already? I have a lot of harsher words than that and I don't want to be PC if I can help it because being PC is fascism with words.

Bitcoin has exhausted its exotic catalysts and is under coordinated regulatory attack by governments around the world. At this point, I don't think there is anything that can save it from collapsing more.

South America is not that into the adoption of bitcoin but look at Paraguay now, they opened their mind about cryptocurrency.
It will surely become a good start for them how bitcoin is valuable and important to the economy especially that it is included in a third world country.
Hoping that more countries in South America will see how valuable and worth it the legalization of bitcoin.

I think that we are probably going to see more of it because these kind of thing is going to be causing their neighboring countries to follow them if they find that Paraguay seems to benefit from it big time.

Next thing we know, Central America and South America is going to be a big hub for crypto activity. Also, not to mention that these countries are pretty socialist, I think anything that can help the people is welcome in this part of the world. Hopefully it really will be a domino effect as OP says so.

If you will see your post, its obvious that only a restaurant or just a normal business are accepting Bitcoin. In every country right now or at least most of them, there are some establishments that are accepting Bitcoin and other cryptos and this is no difference to them. In general, most of the countries are accepting Bitcoin since they aren't doing anything to it or at least to regulate it. Ask the domino effect again if Paraguay government tries to do what El Salvador did. Well, I believe that this will create a domino effect towards some countries though but not in Paraguay as of this moment.

People from Europe and other parts of the world will seriously start to think about moving to South America and Paraguay and not just because of Bitcoin but in general because of lack of freedom. There is still no tax for Bitcoin in Paraguay and it's very cheap to buy their citizenship and get a new passport from Paraguay. If I had to choose one country in South America for living it would probably be Urugay that is not so far from Paraguay, but I hear many anarchists are also moving to Nicaragua.

don't say that if in the end your own words can't prove a solid reference to make an argument. one of them: They are pushing for their CBDC which is the Digital Yuan which is I think is the main reason why they are cracking down on cryptocurrency and the mining of it, they don't like competition which is integral in my opinion to the growth of a digital currency.
back on topic, whether it's true or not for me Paraguay in the future will prove it, we just need time. even other countries that we didn't expect before, have made plans to adopt Bitcoin. Isn't El Salvador a hot topic of conversation after announcing the adoption of Bitcoin as a legal payment? Previously no one paid attention to this small country.

We will see, even is some Asian countries, bitcoin has been accepted in some restaurants as payment even though it is not being recognized as legal tender. And it just show that adoption is really there, we just need more country like El Salvador and Paraguay to spearhead and legalised it so here and see more neighboring countries to accept it.

4 years ago then it means 2017? Well as far as i remembered, that time bitcoin is so popular and in hype too, so i guess that's understandable that there are places that accepted bitcoin as payment. I guess even until now the place will still accept bitcoin. It's such a good thing of course, especially if bitcoin is legalized, then of course more places will adopt bitcoin payment, and it will be more common too in that country. Will make a good impact for bitcoin for sure.

Until now, Paraguay continues to accept Bitcoin and has begun to adopt it to several places such as the largest entertainment venue in Paraguay which will start accepting payments with cryptocurrencies in the form of BTC, ETH, SHIB and CHILIZ. The entertainment venues are located in 24 places spread across Paraguay. it became massive adoption in paraguay. The government of Paraguay announced it is proposing a bill aimed at attracting international bitcoin mining companies and crypto businesses to come to Paraguay. This will improve the economy in Paraguay. Maybe bitcoin miners from china will come to paraguay after they are expelled from china. Paraguay is open to Bitcoin and will expand the use of Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in the country. Souce: https://www.coindesk.com/paraguay-entertainment-group-to-accept-bitcoin-ether-shib-next-month

The world needs this. After El Salvador passed a bill declaring Bitcoin as a legal tender, the global monetary agencies are not happy and are finding negative implications in it rather than advantages. These financial bodies should get a little pressure to at least make them reconsider their insistence on traditional views. If countries adopt Bitcoin one after another, they might get the message and begin opening up to emerging innovations in financial technology.
Much of the developing world certainly needs solutions to their monetary problems but the entire financial system globally is rotten at the core. I still don't think Bitcoin "is the answer" but yeah, perhaps, there are some use cases for a state to at least protect some of its wealth, or, alongside other types of consumer tech layers like Lightning, maybe Bitcoin network is a viable way to conduct parts of the economy for the masses that's also inflation resistant (but they will still need to solve volatility via heh stablecoins maybe, probably). One step at a time, though, I guess.

Souce: https://www.coindesk.com/paraguay-entertainment-group-to-accept-bitcoin-ether-shib-next-monthI am surprised that SHIB is included in their initial list of alts that they want to accept. Should be TRX or XRP, which has better foundation than SHIB. Anyway, this is good news as it seems more and more countries are recognizing the potential of crypto to be accepted in their commercial businesses. People are now being oriented with crypto and this is one way also not to directly use cash in their payment. Yes, if China is banning these bitcoin miners, maybe they are easily accepted by these countries.
