so i got my hands on the founders edition 5700XT not too long ago and i've started to mine, but the weird thing is that it actually fluctuate quite a bit, the difference could be as much as 1.1mh/s...

i've done testing on my other nVidia card, and they are pretty rock solid, and i had my RX580 which was also pretty rock solid, i've just confused about what i should do next...

i've swapped the card from my PCI-e slot on my mobo, to a gpu riser (which is slotted onto 1_1 pcie on my mobo)

any idea or suggestion is welcome..

1. there is no cpu process spike
2. there is no hdd/ssd process spike
3. i leave it idle and staring at the screen and it would still fluctuate

im using MSI afterburner for this card

In such cases, I always test the video card at standard settings. If you have a good power supply and no problems with the raisers, then remove the overclocking and see your result.
The simplest advice I can say is that Core Voltage: 850 is very low, try setting it to 900 or 875.

This card does 55 mhsh with 115-135 watt and from the picture I see you have not the best settings for this card. The settings that most people use on this and I also have one single card like this Gigabyte and use these settings at getting 54.87mhsh at 115 watt, here below are the MSI settings I use,0 fluctuation for me.

Core Voltage : 780
Power Limit : NA-0
Core Clock : 1350
Memory Clock : 1800 or 900
Fan Speed : 75%

You can find the optimum settings for your brand, for me is Gigabyte by just doing a simple google search.

Here is an image from my second rig,the first one is a RTX 3060 ti and the second card near 55 mhsh is the RX 5700 XT

Check your vmem temp, increase your fan speed.
Rx5700XT has no vmem Temp issue unlike rtx3080 and rtx3090, I'm suspecting it's normal high temperature issue and OP can stop that using better cooling pad or paste, I have one RX5700 with high temp issue and it vanished after I changed its thermal paste

droomagon writes that the fan speed is 60%.
Therefore, this value can be increased.
Replacing the thermal paste will reduce the temperature of the video card chip, the memory is cooled using thermal pads.
You can change the thermal pads and you will lose the warranty on the video card, but this may not be the reason.
