Bitcointalk members make money in many ways. We have marketplace section, where you can trade goods, find a job or find an employee in Services section, lend or borrow money.

But I think you are talking about signature campaings - earning money by making quality posts. Your earning depends on your rank, earned merits and luck - you need to find a sponsor - preferably through the campain manager.

First campaings starts at member or full-member rank but they pay only few dollars per week.

you are talking about a signature campaign, where this campaign can be followed by a minimum rank of jr.member or higher if you want to get a fixed fee such as the rate in dollars per week.
but jr members apply to projects that promote on altcoins, and pay using their tokens whose estimates are still uncertain.

This forum is not about earning, it is about making good posts, you will need to reading and following what ranked members are posting, make your own findings about bitcoin, learn in and out of bitcoin and others like exchanges. Check all the boards on this forum, choose the ones you like but bitcoin boards are very important because it is the reason we are here, to teach others how to protect themselves from scam, hackers and how to safely protect our bitcoin. If you continue to learn, you will later be able to help others in the process of learning, you will have more of your posts merited and rank up to certain level and join a signature campaign. You can go to the bounty boards for now to learn about how to earn from there with even your recent rank, but you will have to rank up before you can earn using signature campaign.

People have already given you advice on how to do that, but before the money or the earning contribute on this forum first, earnings and profit will just come if you understand how this forum works and following their rules, I have seen members with a good rank that do not understand how the forum works and continue to break rules, newcomers here should get familiarize with forum rules before anything else.

There are many signature campaigns on the forum. As long as you meet the requirements for the work, you can participate in them and make some money. Some campaigns pay you depending on the quality post count you have in a week and some campaigns pay you a fixed amount. When it comes to wallet, it changes depending on the campaign.

I disagree, not for the first part of your sentence that has to do with the forum not been a place to earn but for the other parts that stated that, the forum is about making good posts (to my ears it sounded like chasing after the merits). I believe the forum was created as a community to help newbies coming into the space to get inform on what they're buying into and also for the already existing (knowledgeable) member to have a community to hangout and exchange ideas probably on how to better the industry or just chat.

Ranked members aren't always right, blindly following them will be very costly. Some account here are bought so their ranks doesn't automatically equals their knowledge in the industry and in other essence since the ranks mostly represent your stay on the forum it doesn't totally account for your knowledge in the industry at large.

PS: what's the catch, I'm beginning to see similar posts (how to earn on forum) of recent appearing, is there something happening that I haven't gotten an idea of or they're just coincidence.

Yes, you are absolutely right, but I just want the thread creator to be able to understand me, it is true that this forum is about helping one another to know more about bitcoin and also about altcoin and some other discussions like economy and society. But I think the way I put it will not discourage the thread creator about this forum, that if he or she learn what the ranked members are posting especially on bitcoin boards and with the finding he or she researched about bitcoin, wallets, exchanges etc, he will be able to rank up, merit is the fuel to ranking up on this forum, but only quality posts will be merited, while only ranked members are able to join signature campaign.

I have seen few youtubers are making videos on online earning and started including bitcointalk as a platform of earning.
I guess these newbies are getting information from such videos and coming here in hope to earn bitcoin and money.

If you are here for earning then the forum is not for you. First learn about this technology, undestand what is driving it and then start creating topics and helping others by replying to them. In due course of time you will achieve a rank of a Member then think about earnings here.

Earning through the forum should be your secondary objective, learning should be primary.

Again, it's pretty unlikely that you will ever get paid for any post here. Especially not for posts like "how to earn money on this forum".

Seriously, if you only come to this forum to earn money through pointless spam and shitposts, you're in the wrong place. Familiarise yourself with the rules here and read the relevant threads. Then start educating yourself about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general and maybe you will be rewarded with some merit by other users for your posts. And then when you finally ranked up, you can start thinking about joining signature campaigns to earn some Bitcoin. In 2021 the way is long and hard and if you're only here for the money you won't make it.

You are right and I agree with you, if your first orientation is money then it is wrong. Earnings or money is a bonus from the forum, because I heard this forum was built for discussion about bitcoin, but because of its development it has come to this point. If the OP is income oriented then most of what I've seen they tend to spam, low quality posts. So I think the forum earnings will follow you as you put in the effort. That's  I learned from the seniors here, it's useful for forums so that one day income will come to you. But it all takes a long process.

There are several methods on earning through bitcointalk;

• Signature campaigns.
• Bounties.
• Selling services/goods.

Excluding the signature campaigns, there is no minimum forum rank required to take part in. Although, participating in signature campaigns is the most demanded one, IMHO. Usually, the campaign managers hire users who have at least the Senior Member rank. To achieve it, you'll need to have 240 activity points, which is 8.5 months of posting everyday on average, and 250 merits.

Sometimes newbies come to this forum and ask how to earn on this forum, how to join signatures to make money, I wonder if they don't read the forum rules how to rank up and there it's clear concise in the thread of the rules but indeed sometimes a beginner comes here just for the money and doesn't want to take the long process.
So sometimes this forum is always associated with how to get money even though here is only a forum to add experience and insight about the real bitcoin.
So it's clear the orientation of the OP just wants money and will make spam if forced.

Usually, the easiest way to earn some in the forum is to sell your services or goods/ digital goods since it doesn't really require anything you could easily start selling even though you are just a newbie.

You could notice that there are different goods that are being sold like cards, paintings, software, etc.

If you have a high rank you could probably join a signature campaign or bounties here in the forum which is a good source of income at some point, but still, the forum is not something that is made to earn so I don't recommend joining just to earn or farming the forum.

The easiest way to earn is to invest in cryptocurrency, it's a pretty good time to invest since the market is a dump and you could buy potential tokens for a very low price. I remember starting to invest 300$ and now I'm already earning thousands of dollars in my portfolio.

You know what, I feel annoying when I saw newbies asked how to earn free money in this forum and ask how they will take benefit from it.
This forum isn't your workplace or consider as your source of income, this is just a community where to share ideas and contribute more knowledge about Blockchain technology or the technology behind Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.  Supposedly, don't think too much about you will be paid per post and start getting paid as you've said.

I suggest study first and learn more before asking this and you will know yourself how to earn money if you're a fully established member.  And of course, with full knowledge on crypto in general and on this forum as well.  Be an asset to the forum.

See i want you to follow this advice because you will misunderstand the objectives of the community if your Target is to start earning money or cryptocurrency in any form here, just skip the option of earning and concentrate by building your account to grow at least members position, the real reason while this community is been created is because of the positive and negative way of making cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin to be accelerated, and negative aspect of it, is to bring the possible solution to solve the negative impact of it.
So your concern op now is to build your account first.
