With joy and ultimate respect in my heart, and not to make an elaborate show of it, I humbly announce my new rank on the forum as a hero member, words are not enough to demonstrate how grateful I am to the forum and the community in it, I was all but a dream I had to make caricature of my self of having, Looking back at my route/journey I have accepted all my credits, my flaws, and onto the next journey I know there would be more learning to do.
 A very big thank you to everyone doing what they do best on the forum, if this where to be else where some of the knowledge we get here for free would require one to pay for membership or class, and to -Newbies- Never quit, read up two to three new things a day -you can make that a priority- aspire for continual evolution.

Once again thanks to the forum, Administrations, staffs, those who I have had electric Intelligent conversation with, those whose post has not lead anyone astray, and thanks to everyone at large.

To achieve hero is not what can be achieved easily, it will take over one year of active posting on this forum, it shows how some people are contributing helpful posts. The next rank is legendary, but which can be achieved with continuous helping and knowledge about bitcoin and altcoins, but most especially about bitcoin. Enjoy your hero rank and make more helpful posts which will get you to legendary when the time comes. Congrats.

This might just be a forum, but getting rewarded with merits and new ranks is an achievement worth recognizing, as only a handful of members gets to achieve them. Congratulations on your new rank and godspeed to the next.

the active  Hero is  better than passive  Legendary. And this is not joke.  As it was noticed by me some users who have achieved the supreme rank  become  mute for a long time  or leave the forum at all.

I've usually noticed something different, where members who have reached hero rank take their foot of the gas and do not pay much attention to the quality of their posts, maybe cause some campaigns bunch up hero and legendary rank.
If this apathy after the highest rank becomes popular, we may need a new top rank added.

I think it will be good if emeritus is used, like after legendary will be emeritus legendary just to quality the legendary rank that has contributed very well. There are some members with over 1000 activities before that were automatically ranked legendary that are not fit to be called legendary, this emeritus title will really indicate how some legendary members have really contributed after attaining legendary rank which will be a honorary title.

Congratulation mate, I remember myself when I have reached a Hero rank, I know how you feel and I can't even sleep at that time when I'm new in a hero rank.  You deserved it and keep it up sharing knowledgeable idea and discussion because this will be an inspiration of a new member of this forum that ranking up isn't a barrier if you've knowledgeable enough, don't think too much the earning, instead, be a establish member and earning extra income is easier for you.

I tend to agree with this, but I noticed that there are most of them depend on the signature they wore.  It would also good if there's a new rank next to Legendary member.

The journey is not easy because you have been through various things in this forum with joy and even continue to be active to reach the highest rank and now have become a hero, once again I congratulate you, the next target becomes legendary with a long travel time.

The forum has provided many benefits and opportunities that we have achieved so far, I think you have passed with 2 years of being a hero so for me this is quite short and will continue to do the best for the forum and its ranks.

With the change in rank, you may become a better person and stay longer on the forum with its activeness.

This is one rank where you can actually say you've gone the far extent of Bitcointalkforum. Its not the last or highest in the forum but should you have been aiming at ranks and it means much to you, of course it pretty much means something to everyone if we are to be true to ourselves but, the bench mark of the ranking profile is at the Hero rank. Here you can actually be tempted to measure foot with the Legendary members, lol... Though, you'll never know what it means to be a legend until your one as it is ultimate. But again, the ranks means nothing if your experience in the forum or the crypto space doesn't say much.

On this note, I'm able to congratulate OP @Bitbender, a crypto enthusiast and a Nigerian comrade on your rank up as a hero member. You've done well and its a plus to the bitcointalk community. Your acknowledged, you stand as a motivation to us all and the journey stays ahead. More grease!

Congratulations, this is remarkable!!! attaining such achievement in a short run of time I hope the newbies can learn one or two from this testimony, no rank is impossible to achieve as long as you are impacting the forum with knowledge/information and not running around spamming, nobody had it easy, is all hard work. What I have just learned upon getting into my desired rank is that somehow there is a possibility that keeping your knowledge and honing your skills is a lot difficult to make your rank more worthwhile.

It has always been so difficult to maintain the consistency of your quality for me post than achieving a certain rank. But anyhow, kudos to your new rank.

I saw many new rankings this month and year, this is a sign that the members in this forum are experiencing improvement and knowledge about crypto/Bitcoin and other things, related to the forum, one of which is you, hopefully in the future you will be more enthusiastic in all things that are useful for the community here, I'm sure you will soon be ranked Legend in the near future.

Big congratulations to you, and I think the feeling taste better as we climb higher, like I could not compare the feeling I got from being a snr member to when I became a full member, the excitement hits differently on me, that why we keep on the knowledge enthusiasm, to all want a greater feeling than we felt the last time, so I encourage you and more don't relent on the last feelings you had, it's exciting and unbelievable I understand but, the arms of the clock stops for no one, so why should you.

Coming on here to say a big congratulations to you mate and a brother from another mother, you should be proud of yourself bro, for reaching a milestone like this in this forum isn't a child's play, for this is what so many of us aspire for, but many of us are not ready to put in the work and effort required to have it, congratulations ones again.
