Tether bug in CMC.

I was looking at the coin prices today on coinmarket cap, and I see a funny bug with Tether...

But the bug doesn't end on the main page, once we click on the coin we see:

So, if 1 Tether is $41M we all are rich! GG guys. We could use Tether to pay the global debt, and each country debt, and to buy Dubai

Thats a funny bug, with that Tether price I am already a billionaire base on my Tether holdings on Binance that's crazy, Anyway, that kind of glitch will be very common and I think that was easy to fix, CMC has a lot of bugs recently they should fix it asap before its getting more serious and become a complicated problem just saying.

Every now and then Coinmarketcap throws up such errors. They were very reliable before the acquisition by Binance, when they had limited themselves to around 1200 coins. Now due to an urge to overtake Coingecko, they are listing close to 10,000 different coins and tokens. And many of these coins have similar sounding names, and this give rise to bugs once in a while. In a way, I am happy that they are listing almost all the coins. The vast majority are either dead or dormant. But at least we can get some information about them.

Some of their services just came back online after it got few issues, now the Tether tick got bugged.

Anyway, I checked again and now it's normal. I also notice that sometimes that kind of bug usually occurred on CMC, either the value goes strangely up or goes extremely low like 0.01. Does anyone know why it possibly happens?

That's funny and sometimes there are unusual coins that are becoming top 1. That's the usual coinmarketcap that we see.
Anyway, the bugs gone now and I think it's now time for this thread to be closed.

It's the common coinmarketcap that really has some bugs that comes unexpectedly.

It's a common mistakes of Coinmarketcap authorities. Now tether USDT bugging corrected. I already checked I my coinmarketcap apps and all information regarding price and volumes ok .

coinmarketcap can give such errors from time to time. The same problems can occur not only in tether, but also for many cryptocurrencies. In such cases, one should not act hastily to sell in haste. In such cases, first take a look at the exchange platforms where it is listed. I've had the same problem a few times before, I'm glad I got rich

We could even buy the supposed asteroid that has gold and other price metals (asteroid Psyche 16).

               What  a funny bug, lol. If this was true, I would already be crying nails right now since I already used up all my usdt to buy good coins on sale when btc was at 30k something. Nut seriously though, I remember cmc back then to be a good source of coin information than coingecko. Which is why I used it quite often. Maybe its because the coins in this industry are increasing in such a fast pace? Or maybe they are understaffed? I really am not sure, but it seems I need to switch sources now since there are already a couple of bugs in cmc. Accuracy is so important in this industry and I just cant risk it.

It is fun that you caught that moment. Cz right now, it is done again with normal price., $1.00. 
Maybe if you are finding that thing and you reload or refresh the page several times, it will be back to the normal display.
yeah, such a normal error. but, I wonder how many times CMC has made this kind of error. yeah, this is a system.
