I am creating a new cryptocurrency. Bitcointalk does not allow giveaway threads. Can someone please tell me which platforms are best to run giveaway campaigns free of cost.

You can use Airdrop instead of give away. Grin

It's not just you who had thought of giving away altcoins to kickstart the economy of your project, there are hundreds of you who had done airdrop before you. Try doing it on the Altcoin forum Don't try asking for KYC though because they might not be joining even if your project is enticing enough with possibility of having good value.

This forum is not specifically against giveaway threads, but rather the use of it to constantly bump your ANN thread by paying them to post, you can however create a system off the forum such as a Google sheet for applications and link it to a thread where you announce the giveaway, so users from here would go there and apply and do not need to apply through replies;

Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

Depends on what you mean by "giveaway campaigns." On bitcointalk, you can organize an altcoin bounty campaign, but you cannot give people any incentives for posting in your threads. If you want to collect addresses or other data, you must do so off-site. See how other projects do it.

If you are creating a new cryptocurrency, I would suggest that you start a bounty campaign (twitter, facebook, signature campaign) or hire someone to run the bounty campaign rather than creating a giveaway or airdrop. This way you are able to put your coin before people repeatedly and gain much more popularity rather than an airdrop or giveaway.
