What is the likely-hood of a better privacy coin being created?

As of now, the best privacy coin for 100% privacy is without a doubt Monero. My real question is what is the chance of a better coin being created for privacy somehow? I want to invest in monero as I heavily believe in it but only thing that concerns me is if something better comes.

Anyone have any opinion on this or theory? Monero is truly private and fast and secure but something could top it maybe?

Monero is the best privacy coin recently, the comparison only with ZCash.
Im not sure there will be a new PrivacyCoin come to the space since its not a trend anymore, also privacy coin is hard to create and be listed on many exchanges.

That's the same thought as bitcoin during early days and even until now. Just buy Monero and hold it. Don't think too much about replacing it by  a better privacy coin because there are too many of them. You just have to hold it and if you think that something new and better comes out, you buy the newer ones. But as long as you don't see it right now.

There are tons of altcoins with all kinds of purposes these days, and mainly they just copy something that was created a long time before them. So with that many projects, I really don't think we'll see anything better than what we already have. I think it's highly unlikely that a better anonymous coin will be created, unless something miraculous happens and a whole new approach to making it (or a huge improvement) is invented. That being said, it doesn't mean that Monero is going to rise. Just because it's a good project and there are no better alternatives, it doesn't mean there's enough demand for anonymous coins to make the price go up even more. Keep in mind that it already went from the initial $0.3 to the ATH of $540 and failed to reach a new ATH (like most good altcoins did) during the 2021 bull run.

Probably there will be some new projects that will come out and topped of that. Of course innovation kicks in but monero has been established already for years so we can definitely so even though there are new players on the game there will be a big community for monero and it will still be the best privacy coin on the market.

there'll be some people who just gonna make improved version of monero and rebranding it, it happens all the time when it comes to open source project so the likely hood is rather high
but I doubt any newly made privacy coin that has more feature could top monero in term of adoption and popularity, creating a better coin is one thing, making it gets listed in various big exchange
as well as growing its market capitalization to the point where liquidity is no more problem is where it's getting hard.

Governments are too hostile for privacy based coins and no business oriented project would want to bring a privacy focused coin that is difficult to introduce to the market. IMO, the best privacy focused coins would come from the community and Monero is one of the example. Though being forced out of many exchanges, it's still holding its position and being traded P2P or other platforms.

I had never got a chance to look for a better option if there is one.
XMR is like on the top of that food chain and it had roots that speak a lot just like how Bitcoin and Ethereum had theirs.
Quality over quantity and support. If a new one could create some explosive hype in this industry, I bet they won't take long and will squeeze every last drop of milk from the cow.

For now, since Monero has not really been disproved as the best privacy coin, there is no reason for you to worry. There are a number of coins which are promoting themselves as better privacy coins but so far none of them really made Monero irrelevant in the competition. Monero remains the gold standard in privacy as Bitcoin in the whole cryptocurrency and Ethereum in the general ranking of altcoins.

Even if a new privacy coin arises which claims that it is more private than Monero, there's nothing that can easily discount a long track record.

Currently, Monero would be a very reliable investment, but this market is open to many surprises. This possibility seems very difficult at the moment, but maybe 2-3 years later, Monero may be out of the loop. If you prefer privacy coin, Monero is the best option right now

but back to your decision, if you want to invest in Monero then I suggest holding it in the long term. because its potential in the future could make you lucky.

As long as Monero still can't be cracked then the potency of someone developing a better mechanism/technologies is probably low, not to mention that Monero is keep being improved to mitigate Monero's limitation. Although it doesn't solely mean that someone won't try to figure out a better systems. I'm pretty sure that a better privacy-oriented innovation likelihood is small(for now), noting IRS still can't figure out a ways to trace monero, it means the current state of monero is pretty solid.

You could check out Pirate (ARRR). It is a community driven project with 100% privacy and easy-to-use wallets. It's marketcap is currently at around 25% of Monero's, but Pirate came down a lot in price already and might find a bottom soon.
On top of that more and more exchanges are listing it, Kucoin was the latest addition.
