What are you holding bitcoin [...] for?

I'm holding for Diversification! Bitcoin is sound money and my country uses fiat money. Sound money will rise in value, Fiat money will fall. If I hold 100% in Fiat even my regional "money printer company" (Central bank) starts laughing at me. So why should I not hold Bitcoin? 100% Fiat is plainly stupid.

Recently everyone is very anxious, the market from time to time falls, sometimes with the negative news waterfall, sometimes without the negative news waterfall, as for the positive news almost no, it really makes people hate the teeth itch. Whether it's profit withdrawal or principal loss, watching your money slowly being eaten up by the market is generally an individual's anxiety.      There are many reasons as to why a person holds such coins in this industry. While they may vary depending of personality, social status or culture, we can certainly not judge a person regardless of their reasons. Anyway, the reasons that I can think of as to why people continue to buy and hold are:

1. The rich quick mindset of the people believing in fairytales and miracles without doing the substantial efforts to familiarize themselves first with this industry.
2. Getting influenced by big influencers online or by peers.
3. Boredom with the traditional ways of keeping assets or earning money.
4. The love for new things or the love for innovative technologies.
5. To fit in.
6. Unemployment/underemployment or lack of jobs for certain skillsets and professions.

      While there can be many more that can be added to the list, those are the most common reasons that I can think of. Now as for my reasons, number 4 and number 6. Number four since it really fits my personality well and number six because I am trapped in this pandemic having no jobs available for my degree/profession.

We can say some positive bitcoin impact first the price at the beginnig was really low and getting btc was a really easy task you could say that it was a free risk investment were with only 10$ you could be a rich man and it was the perfect oppurtunity to win free money plus there have been other occasions to earn from it and its biggest advantage so far is that its always reaching new ATH and it means that you never lose your investment money if you hold it.

Im holding bitcoin and some altcoins for 2 reasons.

Because I like the fact of storing my assets securely plus making a fast transactions with cheap fees, anywhere and everywhere as long as there's an internet connection.

Because I believe its a good investment. The volatility attracts me that it can give us a huge profit just by holding, though it might take a long period.

Even though it may not be much for some to still see the potential that it has. But we've seen the proof in our lives how bitcoin made our lives better and changed a lot of things in our living aspect.

No need to have that much reasons why we're investing in bitcoin. As long as we've got enough few reasons why we're leaning and believing on it, people will see and regret that they've been late knowing and investing on it.

Well, that's not that many reason in my opinion, having only one reason is pretty weak in my opinion because that means that you don't see the whole picture if you don't have enough reasons to believe in something.
