After I saw your post about the said exchange. I checked and did a little research and saw that there are class suits and cases thrown to the said company. People were prevented from dealing with certain stocks like GameStop and Nokia and others and these people either missed opportunities or lost money because Robinhood did not allow them to do anything because they closed the trading for these assets. If the stock market is already problematic with them, what more would be cryptocurrency?

You should make your accusation valid by showing proof that they are really doing this, the scam section is the proper place to do that, how many few times and to whom, if you have actual experience on their service then show some proof, I agree on your point that the best place to buy coins are Coinbase, Binance, and Huobi, but we should give a chance to small exchange and but fight scammers.

               Welp, seems like another one has fallen victim to robinhood. If you make a quick search, you will see a lot of people ranting about their complaints towards robinhood services. Even on stocks a lot of people are hating on robinhood. I really don't know how they manage to get away with this kind of customer service. I just wish people would research more about an exchange before even trying to use the services provided by any exchange. Regret is such an awful feeling don't let it happen to you.

Haven’t you seen what has happened when Doge had a huge pump at the beginning? People were not able to sell their Doge for some unknown reason. I have never used this before but have heard about it when Doge had its pump.
People should be using only the top reputed exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, Kucoin etc.

Interesting that you bring this up. A rule of thumb in the crypto space is not to trust any unreputable platforms for exactly this reason.
They can set their own regulations and change them any time they want without any warning.

Binance is by far the one that is most trusted and used by people. No need to go for newer exchanges when their brand is not so well recognised - it leaves plenty of room for error.

If you really get the proof then crush the proofs. It has to be arranged. You can't say anything without proofs. Present your proofs here. I think crypt is a good place to get.io.It has a lot of big traders. So it can be considered as a good place.

Yea I think after the $GME cases where it should really taint their reputation people with right mind should stay away from this platform where they even advertise themselves as platform for everyone while really it isn't, imagine the platform manipulating your asset, there are plenty of good exchange site that are really reputable and have really big customers out there, why even think of robinhood for crypto trading.

Are they actually manipulating the market using the assets deposited by users? Damn! This is the far I always had with centralized exchanges because they have our coins and they can play with the market and make their own traders lose since they know which orders the whales are on and it's easy for them to pause all trading for few mins and liquidate funds by manipulating the market. Is that what they are doing? I felt like Binance has also done it in past, just my theory.

I came to know about this exchange first when the gamestop scandal was publicly known and I heard a lot of complaints against the exchange during that time also and now that you are complaining as well, I think something must be wrong for so many guys to call them out.

Absolutely. I still see sometimes posts about how newbies asking where to buy crypto and considering Robinhood and i always tell them to stay away.

And I am baffled why people use these unknown exchanges when there are coinbase and Binance available to everyone. I mean why would you take unwanted risks when you already have reputed exchanges, maybe people aren't aware of binance and other reputed ones.

Yeah, and I have not seen any accusation against them in the scam accusation section or the reputation section but there are some rumors around the exchange so something must be cooking. I would not accuse them but surely not use the exchange either because they might be innocent but better take precautions than to chase them later.

Moreover, I believe that OP must include some references to back their arguments and also not everyone must be aware of what they are talking about hence including supporting links also will serve the exact purposes of having such a topic here.

i heard this case many times when gamestop rising alot they suspend trading, and also doge case when pumped hardly. I think this is shit exchanges that want rob their customer's money, they suspending anything when we want to make profits. Rather than using this exchanges, better use binance, huobi or another top exchanges in cryptocurrency market. SInce gamestop case, i am not give recomendation to use it.

Been saw some accusations and problems about Robinhood on the internet and is not good for them since they are a big trading platform. Since the GameStop issue, Many have closed their account because of the fear of experiencing the same issues as the others. Immediate closing of a trading asset is bad especially if that asset is moving toward your side. It's suck being stuck with a rising value asset but you can't do anything to buy and sell it.

They're also the ones that made a bug and the person affected by it did suicide. Because that bug showed the total portfolio of the guy who had hundred thousand became negative.

And it's their fault because they didn't made any announcement that something was wrong with their platform and that resulted to that mischief.

Judging on the many complaints against Robinhood, I agree that a newbie into investing should shy away from this platform. I admire Robinhood because they are providing easier access to any investor, and they have grown a lot through the years thanks to a good marketing strategies, but beyond the classy image lies some problems which up to now the company is not able to adequately addressed to the satisfaction of the many. Still, am hoping that Robinhood is going to be listening to their customers more and make major changes so that problems in the past will not be haunting them in the future.

True, we should be mindful when making conclusion like this but I doubt someone gonna make accusation against them in this forum since not many people here
actually used robinhood and everyone else just used coinbase, binance, etc. It's in reddit more specifically wallstreetbets where people trades crypto and stocks all at once and usually
use robinhood because this app could do exactly both that have this kind of problem.

If you got scammed or affected in anyway by using the exchange or you think that it has potential to scam people then you should go to scam accusation or reputation section them people will get more exposure about what people are exposing because posting here will bury under the spam threads.

There are many Robinhood alternatives already https://investingintheweb.com/investment-apps/robinhood-uk/ . Most major brokers are embracing the "commission-free trading" wave. Even Interactive Brokers, has eliminated monthly fixed fees.

 Appreciate your warning , thats why I dont even use some new existed and least reputable  exchanges. I always used those exchanges that was established, have a good feedback and reputation and was being tested by many considered its legitimacy.
 
 If two or more users have a complaints with a particular exchange like Robinhood and they dont even fix the issue, then its time to leave that scam exchange.
