The CHIA official pool protocol has not been released yet. Once it's released it will require re-plotting to create portable plots that can be used on any pool.

https://github.com/Chia-Network/chia-blockchain/wiki/Pooling-FAQ

Currently, there are a few non-official pools that are not recommended because they require using a closed sourced client which is a security risk and can allow malicious actors to game the pool.

Yep! Simply install the Chia wallet and make some plots. You'll gain a chance of finding a Chia block (usually its quite low, depends on your plot count)

Happy farming!

New functioning U.S. based chia pool running now.

https://www.ttdpool.com

This is the first functioning US based chia pool that I know of.
This pool does not require you create new plots. It allows you to use your already created solo plots.
This pool will never threaten the 51% attack because all users are still running their own node.
You can switch between pool mining and solo mining by simply closing the client.
You will be paid for your contribution on each winning block you are running the client on.
Feel free to use the contact page to ask any questions or to report problems.

Flexpool for sure, I don't mine chia coins but I find out that you can mine chia on flexpool which is a very good pool hands down, I mine ETH on flexpool and so far I'm liking their service in terms of accurate payouts and pool functionality/rewards
