First criminal charges to be filed against Trump Organization

After a lifetime of observation I have gathered that normally the US doesn't prosecute its former presidents for anything after they leave office. First of all, its not nice; second of all, its not a good look for a country's government in general.

I'm wondering if Trump will be the exception to this rule as he did a lot of either blatantly illegal or at best highly questionable things as president...

Not that all presidents aren't faced with horrifying decisions in the dark, but some of the stuff he did was pretty outwardly stupid on the level of being a decent human being and I wouldn't be surprised if he was tried and convicted on any number of things.

Notice that while Trump was in office, they brought impeachment charges against him. It all turned into nothing. The impeachment, itself, brought more loathing against the impeachers than it did against Trump. Indeed, Trump became mor popular because of it.

Did they blow their wad doing this? Whether they did or not, they don't care if they have evidence against him or not. The point is to make him look bad in the eyes of the people. If they don't, he'll win in 2024, and their whole program will go down the tubes. They don't need any evidence whatever. All they need is blab against Trump.

Yes, that's right. Most presidents do illegal things in the dark, believe that they are above the law, and exercise their influence to avoid charges against them or the people who work in their name under the cover of darkness. Trump should be prosecuted for the many crimes and wrong decisions he made, not just tax evasion.
But what will the people gain from trying the president after the end of his presidential term? Is this a bad sign for democracy? Why is the president not being prosecuted for legal violations while he is still within his presidential term? Are these charges really legal or are they political? Meaning that the current ruling team is trying to track down the mistakes and violations of the previous team in order to obtain political gains in its favor?

     I am a huge believer of karma and the way I see it, whatever comes in Trump's way is only right for him. You reap what you sow as what they say. And even if not all the unlawful or immoral things he did gets discovered, there will still be a time that he will be paying for these actions one way or another. Even now, most people are not even taking him seriously and sees him as a laughingstock. I just hope though that if the law really chases Trump, it won't be the last and that it will also chase literally everyone who does wrong regardless of social status or occupation.

Frankly, I was wondering when the ex-president, Donald Trump, was going to be called out by the court for some of his misdoings. The one that stuck out like a sore thumb was the post electoral riot where he urged his supporters to match to the Capitol to help reclaim his supposedly stolen mandate. It was horrible. I never saw a thing like that with the US. It was chaotic as there was an ongoing sitting by Congress at the time at the legislative chambers. Such isn't done in sane societies. We also remember that the election which brought Trump in as president was also said to have been fraught with irregularities the same way the one that saw him out. I hope he answers for it by the court. The US isn't Africa where elected officials assume they're superior to the electorate who got them into power and could behave how it pleases them.

It's not a new thing for most persons in government offices or positions of power to commit crimes or take decisions that are degenerative and be cloated by there office. Of course I know the burden  of being a leader is hard as, you've got a lot of rationalising to do and scale your choices before you make them which still, its unlikely to be imperfect as you can't get all the elements evaluated.

Well, taxe evasion is a crime never the less and there is every possibility that the Trump foundation would be guilty of these accusation if properly looked into. A the foundation would be looking out to utilising any opportunity they can find to ensure they save cost, using the office of the formal president as a cloak to shield them from these bills.

So, it would come as a no surprise but then, its not directly dumped on Trump either ways. It falls directly on the management but still, its an attack on the pioneer founder.
