Celsius CEO says BTC price will go to $160,000 this year, what will happen then?

Alex Mashinsky, chief executive officer and co-founder of Celsius has predicted that BitCoin price will go all the way up to 160000 USD by this year, even the Price has reached 30,000 recently, but he think that with the strong self-correction,  the increasing of BTC price will be soon.
Let's imagine what will happen afterwards?
First thing would be the dramatically increasing of recent altcoin that fits the mainstream, likeAxie(AXI, NFT related project),  Parami($AD3, Polkadot granted project), SolPixel (NFT & Finanial), ShieldDAO ( Defi+ Fufutures). i think those project could raise at least 20 times once BTC reaches 160K.
Secondly, there will be lots of new billionaire generated, they are not come from internet, not come from e-commerce, but they come from Blockchain, some one would be stick to BTC, someone else from the huge profit of Altcoin.
So, it's quite important to set up your investment portfolio, leave partial to BTC and the rest to ALTCOIN

if good fundamental continuesly come to crypto market especially from subject that so far have huge influence $160k could realized this year. For that price we must have higher capitalization in market, and it will not happen without huge institution contribution to market. Retail traders have huge contribution too, but its not enough to drive bitcoin price to 160k.

In the past many years, I have had been hearing many famous personalities making their stakes in the "Bitcoin Predicting" business but most of them failed to happen. However, don't get me wrong as I myself is very much looking-forward to the big rise of Bitcoin maybe up to a million dollar in the next five years. that guy was too early to think bitcoin could reach such rate this year. We have less than six months to make it happen and without the next halving and that will be impossible to be achieved by bitcoin. I should remind you that if the market needs to build another big support to make it happen. There must be bunch of major news to make it happen dude. The fact that we can think that may happen after bitcoin already broke its old ATH but bitcoin was not yet surpassing its ATH and that's why it's too early to talk about hte future price of altcoins while bitcoin is not going to the somewhere.

The CEO of Celcius seems ultra bullish on bitcoin. While I don't disagree on the pricing point, but I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon. Definitely not by the end of this year. I am sure nobody will be unhappy if it happens because a lot of forum members will become millionaires. But realistically, I don't think it's possible to achieve anytime soon. However, 10 years down the line, it's definitely possible! When the Next to next bullish cycle will happen, that's when we might see such price point of bitcoin.

Also as we have always seen, along with the bullish cycle of bitcoin, the price of all altcoins will increase. So diversification is the key here! I agree to have few prominent altcoins along with bitcoin in my portfolio to make the most out of such bullish cycle.

IMO, there is no one who knows the market gonna be up, down, or sideways and can't really predict the time. You want to know the reason, why almost all are people trusting people like him? the reason is simply that he has some achievement in his life, that would be a different scenario went you are predicting that number nobody is gonna believe it.

Obviously, he has some intentions behind here, telling the public that BTC will go to $160k at least. So just be careful with those speculators predicting such exorbitant price. It's better to just see what's going to happen, instead of anticipating it. The question is ,what happens if the price didn't go to $160k? LOL. So we should be prepared at anything, the market is very volatile, and as crypto investors, we should adapt and not listen very often to those people.

Fundamentals, that's one reason why BTC can rose to this price in the future, of course, there is the basic economic law of supply and demand. If there is more demand in the future, coming from retail investors to whales, to speculators to countries such as El Salvador to big companies using BTC to hedge their assets and put it on their balance sheet, then BTC can go as high as $100k this year.

First of all, I don't believe in others predictions because we all have our own point of view. Bitcoin could surpass 200k-250k price, which will be more than 7-8 times. But yes, so many altcoins will pump 20-30 times. If I have so much USD, almost 60-70 percent deserve altcoins and the rest of it Bitcoin.

Then they'll also be into a rising pattern just as bitcoin if it reaches $160k. That's the usual prediction that you'll see and that's why many are still looking forward to see bitcoin at $100k+.
If it happens then that's a good call for those predictors that have said that bitcoin will reach $100k. But if it won't happen by the end of this year, that's still fine because those are just opinions.

Everyone's try to motivate retail investors through those predictions that bitcoin will sure to go more than 100k in value. But reality is, every country tries to crack down crypto exchanges and hashrate is down because of miner migration from China to other place which would take at least 3-4 months, IMHO. In fact, bitcoin might do sideways movement until these are going on. But it's sure to hit those goals maybe next year and possibilities within this year is quite low.

Not only those, other top alts will pump more than and few shitcoins might make upto 100x because of the fomo for another bullish rally.

Many people make claims about the price of bitcoin but that doesn't mean that they are right. I am not saying that bitcoin can't go to 160k this year, we do not know what it will do, maybe it will go there or maybe it won't go there and we are just making a calculated guess at this point.

However just because he said it doesn't mean that he knows something we do not know about bitcoin neither. What he is saying is as valuable as me saying bitcoin will be 10k this year, it has the same weight because neither of us really know what bitcoin will do, just because he is a CEO somewhere doesn't mean that he has the potential to make that much money, and that is why we are not going to end up seeing anything that will profit us that much just because he said it. However if it were to go up like that? We all who hold bitcoin and altcoins even after the fall will become super rich.

$160,000 per BTC is a similar top of the cycle prediction by a few people in the know. I would certainly be delighted with such a price, it’d make lots of people here very wealthy. For now though, we just need to resume the bull run & reverse the current trend.

There are many kinds of predictions everywhere. But they don't mean anything. I'd like to see Bitcoin reaching a level like that in this year of course. But it doesn't seem very logical to me. I have even doubts about if Bitcoin can reach $100k before the end of the year.

They don't mean anything yet because it hasn't been reached and when those predictions before 2020 came, there were some predictions that I've read that the next bull run will break the past ATH which was $20k and it finally did.

It's hard to believe that those prices might happen for this year but nothing will lose if you're going to have that belief on it. But if you don't think that it won't happen it's fine and if I think it will, that's also fine. We have nothing to lose.

surely BTC will reach $160k before the year ends!  btw, every prediction will definitely have an impact on market psychology and have the goal of attracting more investors.  The bullish trend will definitely repeat itself, it's just a matter of time until the scattered fud disappears like being swallowed by the wind.

Btw, everybody may expect to meet BTC with that high price. however, personally, I am not the kind of person who wants to dream as high as possible. I am sure that BTC price will be rising up in this bullish time later. However, to hit $160.000? It is a very high amount of the price, isn't it? Can it be really? I will believe BTC will hit $60 at first and continue rising up.

Altcoins could either be plummeted or instead gets pumped alongside with BTC if succesfully build the hype again, I mean, altcoins is nothing taboo anymore, almost everyone that invests to BTC also invest to altcoins to increase profit and diversify portfolio
I'm pretty sure no harm will go to alt if BTC price go that high if the market capitalization increases due to inflow of capital from outside, and I think $160000 is not unrealistic target, if not for the recents massive fud we probably could've hit above $80K by today.

Ideally the Bitcoin exchange rate should be in six digits by now. A few weeks ago, Bitcoin received it's biggest breakthrough since it's invention, when El Slavador made it a legal tender. But the prices have remained low, due to various factors such as the China mining ban, involvement of Elon Musk and the SEC investigation against Binance. IMO, the biggest rally will occur in the 4th quarter of this year, similar to what happened in 2013 and in 2017. During the 3rd quarter, it will be the stabilization phase and I don't expect any large scale price movements.
