Yesterday was a trading fun day for forex traders with the release of NFP news at about 8:30am EST. Could there be a similar day for cryto traders where a news would pop-up that could cause a major spike that would even make novice traders make huge profits prior to the news.

I know Crypto news can pop up at any time same has forex trading but in forex a beautiful day is set aside specifically for fundamental analyst to partake in the market volatility can't we have a similar day for cryto traders so we get ready to invest on the said day to take advantage of the spike once the news is released

NFP which means Non Farm Payroll is the estimation of the total employed and non employed individuals in the US which always occur every first Friday of every month. This news is very high in volatility and most fundamental analysts always see it as a good means to generate good profits.
In the crypto market, there is nothing like NFP cause it is not being regulated by the US government. Cryptocurrency has nothing to do with NFP cause it's not a current market like the Forex market whose traders mostly depends on it  to determine their trades.

I think it's not going to be that effective since it's a global market and it's 24/7. I mean, there's already a catalyst with all the influencers exciting the cryptocurrency market. Those are why many people are buying doge as well, and look how it turned out. It's great. If you believe in something, you have to buy it. I think it's still best to know what you are buying into and sticking to your decision.

Not to say that Forex and Crypto are totally different but there are similarities that news could really give out some impact and im much aware about NFP news which is mostly been eyed by most forex traders
since you could really take advantage on it and same goes here on this market too but the said news are really unpredictable or you wouldnt know on when it would pop out or totally random or cant be known.
Crypto market is highly reactive to news but not all the time because it could either make impact or not depending on how the community would react and that would always matter.
So better watch out and make out significant move which might result into profit but of course losses are there.

Whereas you have got the alternative to get and hold cryptocurrency in a “wallet” that you just control, most not-for-profits (NFPs) lean toward to utilize a third-party “exchange” or a installment processor to get, hold, and offer cryptocurrency on their sake. The giver makes the installment utilizing Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash.

The cryptocurrency market works 24 hours for 7 days and many things can affect it and many countries may do so.

Again, despite the difficulty of predicting the fluctuations of this market, but it is subject to the basic rule, which is supply and demand, and therefore if there are news that may affect demand or supply, the price will respond to it, increasing or decreasing.

Cryptocurrency trading gives you a guaranteed profit, but easy profit can only be achieved with patience (you may need patience for a few years)

I think cryptocurrencies don't have non-farm payroll news, in contrast to forex, which news can be set at certain hours, there are even market opening sessions for certain regions, for example the Asia, Europe and America zones. different from crypto which does not exist at all. so that at any time there can be a sudden price spike

We have NFT which is not like NFP.. it can work in similar way in the future. Famous artist decides to release their NFT art on the platform and users will get a pop up to buy that art before anyone else. I see some platforms are already using not in pop up sense..just promotion mostly. This is something I definitely see in the future.

You are comparing both different things.

A non-fungible token (NFT)
Non-farm payrolls (NFP)

If you do try to compare and read up the definition then you would definitely say that you are really out of topic.

Just like on some comments above on where crypto market is open 24/7 such event isnt something you can see
here.

NFP for cryto might not really workout single crypto isnt centralized by Government agencies. It whales can only be moved by big investors who constantly fluctuate the price with their investments. I guess everyday is a good day in cryto only if you can control the volatility as a trader in your own favour that's why it's more profitable trading cryto than forex despite the market capitalization difference for now.

Gives me goosebumps every time I see this kind of news. Used to do a small time forex thing (successfully at first and then a lot of bad luck and then it became crazy) so I'm reminded every time I see crypto traders pulling out their forex/stocks based TA. The good old bad times for me!

But no, I don't think anything except central bank policy seems to move crypto markets.

Am not familiar with forex trading but I know forex is a regulated market unlike cryptocurrency, which is unregulated. NFP is an official day set aside in the US for force traders. In conclusion, a crypto NFP is not possible for now. Maybe in the future, yes, but not at the moment.

I don't think crypto will completely be regulated, you can see how china had banned BTC almost every year but you can see more Chinese are trading and owns BTC today than the numbers before 2021.

LOL that's one of the ridiculous reply here.

I actually thought maybe there will be something like an NFP of FOREX if Bitcoin mining farms are regulated like Bitcoin mining farm payrolls (BMFP) where that the mining farms are going to send pays to their workers and them most of the time the price drops because these employees are going to sell. It's probably a party every time this payroll day comes.

Yes... there's something like that already... it's called "Elon Musk".
Today, he likes bitcoin so it shoots up 10%, then tomorrow he doesn't so it plummets 20%... and so on.

He only gets richer and most of crypto traders/investors will eventually end up losing.
