I had so much fun reading the replies especially in the first page of the OP thread. I was surprised with the different reactions shared thoughts and lessons and variety of ideals and culture too.

I think this could serve as a calling to all individuals who are trying hard forgetting time with their love ones. Well hope this OP has helped.

I am a person with comorbidity so I'm afraid to be vaccinated because if it will cause a side effect to my body that I couldn't fight, it could result for me to die. I would just rather die the way I want where I am happy than to get any brand of vaccine, plus they don't guarantee yet that you won't have COVID anymore. If the people around me are vaccinated, that is already enough to lessen the risk for me of contracting the virus. I also don't get out of the house so there is a very low chance for me to get the virus.

That's the same case for me. I never have or do not remember any time that I've been consulted with a doctor.
I would get my health to be checked first before I get a vaccine of my choice.
I also stayed at home and follow the protocols; I have a low risk of being infected.

Well, because of covid19 many had been struggling in able survive even if it means that not following the minimum health standard protocols against covid19. This the reality of what has been happening around especially in poorer countries. But what can we do? I myself too strugling to survive.

In order to survive , first we must adopt in the situation , how can we do this? by limiting our demands , instead of eating 3-4 times before pandemic, try to have at least  2 meals per da specially if we have stopped in work since we don't need more energy daily.

this will also help our body having healed as fasting will take place.

This is not possible, it would be an ideal of course but if the companies do not want to do it then the governments cannot force them and the reason for this is that the next time there is a pandemic then those companies are going to argue they lost money during the current one and they will refuse to create vaccines during that time, and if that future pandemic is even worse than the current one the days and weeks lost will be critical, so while from an humanitarian point of view what you are saying makes sense it will not happen.

Business will always be business. It will not stop making returns since it also start with huge capital particularly for the vaccines that should be acquired by the government. The government should be the one to pay for it and it should be distributed freely to its citizens.

Vaccines does not guarantee that you won't be covid free for the rest of your life. There are still chances that you will be covid 19 positive but you will only experience mild symptoms unlike those who never got vaccinated and this virus will always be a big threat for their health.

Pharma industries are in the race for this covid vaccine, so high likely that they really didn't have enough trials for different types/conditions of the body. We can say maybe, some are premature but if they passed the minimum requirements, they are good to go. But they have different efficacy on different people. As trials are not that wide and varied, they don't know the after effect of the vaccine for certain rare conditions of the body.

The government needs vaccines for its people so that the economy will recover if people work normally. with mass vaccination, it costs money, and this comes from the tax sector. In a situation like this, I think the government will immediately make facsimiles, so that people are healthy and the economy will run smoothly, moreover, of course the government will be able to find income from the tax sector

The main problem is not that if you don't take vaccine you will die but if you got infected it will unknowingly spread to your family members who are in your contacts and in today's world many old people have many problems like asthma, blood pressure and diabetes which can cause severe damage to their health and that's most concerning part for this.The vaccine is not trusted or if any issue are there I have still got myself vaccinated for sake of me and my family members.It is been immunity booster for some and some got several problems after taking the dose so you can't trust it Fully.So it depends upon you whether you want to take it or not.

- My country does not have such regulations on vaccination but the number of vaccines is still a very limited number, almost only concentrated in big cities to avoid larger outbreaks but despite such favoritism for central cities, a few reports of risks have also caused quite a few people to consider vaccination. When people talk about struggling for survival. Poverty and shortages. Automatically what comes to mind is encouragement for people to grow their own food and become more DIY oriented. Its amazing how high expectations for vaccines are. People desperately want life to return to normal and vaccines are viewed as the best method to achieve this. But then I see some US states and officials denying the vaccinated any privileges over unvaccinated. Receiving the vaccine doesn't negate mask mandates and requirements to wear a mask. The vaccinated do not enjoy relaxed travel restrictions. I would be curious to know what happened with Bill Gates being a poster boy for the vaccine movement. He gave talks about vaccines for many years prior to the pandemic. Now he's being thrown under a bus by the media. That Donald Trump of all people stepped up to endorse COVID vaccines in Bill Gates absence. I feel like there's much that could be said on this topic, that isn't being said. The silence is deafening.

Maybe that could be the case in USA I do not know but in my nation people who are vaccinated can travel outside of the nation whereas people who are not vaccinated can't go to any other nation, same goes for people who are coming into our nation as well, if you are non-vaccinated, you can't come into our nation and if you are vaccinated you can.

There are still mask mandates because vaccination is not there to stop the spread of the virus, it is there to make the virus less likely to kill you, until the day comes when humanity do not worry about dying from this, and we can drop the numbers into 50k death per year even if we live our normal life, mask will stay, only will be lifted when we reach to a level where it kills as much as flu or at least close, we are not there just yet. I'm just a little dubious when it comes to getting vaccinated because of course there will be side effects later if it doesn't match our immune system, that's what I'm worried about.

Seeing from local news in my country there are many side effects after being vaccinated, from various body heat, vomiting, convulsions and also the body becomes weak and paralyzed, I am even horrified to see this news but will this be guaranteed by the government after many vaccinations later?

I think what needs to be done is just to maintain a healthy body pattern and maintain immunity.

I'm a man whose entire background revolves around Science, and who worked with the virus firsthand, I definitely will take the shot (which I already did btw) without any hesitations whatsoever. There's really nothing negative about getting vaccinated save for a few outliers. That's where pre-screening comes into play wherein you would be profiled based on your medical history, and whether or not you're going to be vaccinated or just be in the sidelines until further data are collected regarding the effects of the vaccine to those individuals with similar yet milder symptoms than you.

There's really no other way around a pandemic except for introducing a vaccine and developing herd immunity as more and more people take the shot to protect those who cannot receive it. The only reason why this current lineup of vaccines is controversial is because it's done in record time as compared to the previous ones that were concocted by scientists all over the world. We have to take into consideration that technology advances, and so does our ability to formulate, analyze, and study vaccines that are generally safe for use in the shortest time possible.

Yes. It is important to be vaccinated. It is our protection against the deadly virus. Though it is not 100% fully protected, still, you will not develop serious illness if you get infected. You will still be infected but it will be just mild. I, myself, want to be vaccinated but I have lots of allergies, I first have to consult my doctor and get a medical clearance prior to vaccination. I am hypersensitive so I"ll ask my doctor first if it is okay for me to get vaccinated. For now, I am extra careful, i do doubdle masking and distancing myself to other people to make sure i didnt go close contact with other people.
