Do you use deodorant?

If yes, how safe is the deodorant? I realized sometimes ago that what we rub on our skin/body eventually get absorbed into the body, and I decided to be careful with the kind of things I rub on my body.   In my opinion, if it's not safe for consumption/eating don't rub it on your skin.
I think it would be better to use the natural alternatives, but where can we get those from? Do you know of any that's very effective and safe?

No I'm not instead i am using " Potassium Alum " and this is what I'm using since teenager time.

I use this as powder or sometimes diluted in water and rubbing to my underarms .

But i believe that there is same thread here way back about asking if people are using deodorant .

I had that as Natural option too, but I'm not really sure about it's safety.
Is that safe for human consumption? Better still ,can you eat it moderately without any bad side effect? If you can, then i guess it's safe to rub on the body.  

I'm not sure if this can be use as human consumption but we use this as cleaner for animal internal parts to lessen the moist.

example the Intestine in which has bad smell? we use Potassium alum to clean this and rinse with water multiple times.

Of course, I remember we use something called alum as water purifier back in those days or to wash slime out of snail before they are cooked, but I'm not sure if it's the same as potassium alum you mentioned. I thought if they could be used for drinking water or for washing snail then maybe they are safe for human consumption if taken moderately.

I generally use commercial deodorants, like Axe and stuff. Every day. If I shower twice because it's summer and I've been exercising, for example, then twice I put on deodorant.

Since I am interested in natural medicine, I had also heard the theory mentioned that deodorants can cause long-term effects in some people. So some time ago I also bought potassium aluminum. But it is not as potent. I use it once in a while. Mostly when I shave my armpits, once a week or so, because in theory freshly shaved the toxic ingredients get in easier.

Seriously ? you are skipping using deodorant for a day or 2? does you underarm not having moist or odor?

I am not aware of a natural alternative, but I do know that a clean body smells much nicer than an unwashed body that has used deodorant!

I certainly do use deodorant, I hate the smell of sweat & body odour. I’ve been using anti perspirant since I was about 12 years old & I probably won’t stop now. I wear aftershave when I go out too.

I use deodorant every time I go outside and I don't use it at home, so as not to harm the skin. It's easier to take a shower when you're at home

Nope I never used deodorant and it is because I don't have a body odor and my underarms doesn't sweat too much so I don't see any reason for me to use one at the moment.
I think it is also because of my older brother back when I was a kid he used to scared me that if I put or use a deodorant I would have a body odor since I doesn't have it and it is only for those who have body odor.

Yeah for a while you will smell nicer but after hours and when you starts to sweat ? then you are no different from the person does not use deodorant .

Best to clean your self and use deodorizer that's it.

Used Aloe Vera yesterday and it works really well for me. Just hope the tiny armpit creatures don't get resistant to it. Will probably try alum too someday to see if can be good antiperspirant.

I'm happy if my suggestions can help your problem, I only tell what I know and use. Because sensitive skin like me, It's not easy to find suitable
ingredients that don't cause irritation. but as long as I use aloe vera no side effects appear. There was once who suggested using alum,
but after i use it a few times it makes my skin dry and irritated. Unfortunately I am not suitable for using alum, I hope your skin is suitable
for alum, because like I said my skin is very sensitive.

Some people don't like the smell of aloe vera, but because of the frequent use of aloe vera, I got used to the smell. I've never made aloe vera juice,
so can't comment. Maybe if you don't really like the smell of aloe vera, you can buy aloe vera skin cream which is usually sold in cosmetic stores.
Usually aloe vera cream has been mixed with certain perfumes, so the smell is different from the original aloe vera plant. Usually products from
Korea that produce aloe vera cream a lot.

To eliminate the odour from aloe vera, you can wash it with water and use soap for the face. It is better to use baby soap if you have sensitive skin on your face.

Besides that, when you use aloe vera, you do not need to use it all day long, maybe for just 15-30 minutes.

I like that fragrance that oozes when I turn my head on the pillow towards my armpit. The only time I don't wear it is whenever I shave my armpits. This is because there's always bruises to handle whenever one shaves one's armpits and it's not good to spray directly into bruised armpits.

Indeed in some countries aloe vera is not easy to get, I am lucky in my place aloe vera is easy to get. I get aloe vera picked from my garden,
and it's very easy to use, just apply directly to our armpits. What I like about aloe vera is that it feels fresh and doesn't make the skin dry
and irritated.

I have a friend who has black armpit, and she whitens with natural ingredients like lemon or cucumber. You can try it, simply slice a lemon or
cucumber into several pieces. Then rub gently on our armpits, after that let stand for 10-15 minutes. When finished, rinse with warm water
until clean and dry. Do this every day until the armpit skin looks white.

Sorry mate for asking , But you are shaving your armpit? oppps sorry i missed that idea that are you Female? i guess it is because that is rarely for male to shave 

But yeah that is very comforting when the  fragrance goes to the Pillow , i love my Wifey having that fresh smell also.
