@Chato1977, I'm a Daddy! BTW, how did you arrive at the assumption that only female shave their armpits? Don't you know the under arms will look like a forest reserve if not shaved 🤷

Before you boast of your material acquisition, take a stroll to a morgue and there you will find those who were once better than you're. Only fools think they've it all. Stay humble 🤔

Sorry mate for asking , But you are shaving your armpit? oppps sorry i missed that idea that are you Female? i guess it is because that is rarely for male to shave  Wink

But yeah that is very comforting when the  fragrance goes to the Pillow , i love my Wifey having that fresh smell also.

I shave my armpits too, as I commented earlier in the thread. Weekly. What I'm not very clear about is the gender issue. That division between men and women sounds very heteropatriarchal.   Grin

My Bad Guys , but in our culture it is rare that a Male shaving armpits , it is customary for a female as my mother use to ask me taking out her Underarm hair when i was a Kid .

Anyway it is the culture that makes this different , and Yeah Our underarm usually hairy as it was not been shaved  Wink

My skin is very sensitive, so when I use deodorant a few times I get irritated. Therefore I tried to find another natural alternative, after I read many
articles on the internet. We can use aloe vera instead of deodorant, aloe vera plant is very much in my country. That's why I use aloe vera
instead of deodorant, Aloe vera can eliminate body odor because of its anti-bacterial and anti-microbial. Then most importantly aloe vera is
safe to use on sensitive skin.

But aloevera it self has this Odor that is not good for smell , how can you eliminate the Bad odor comes from Aloe vera? in fact the smell of aloe vera juice is same as smell of Under arm odor.

To eliminate the odour from aloe vera, you can wash it with water and use soap for the face. It is better to use baby soap if you have sensitive skin on your face.

Besides that, when you use aloe vera, you do not need to use it all day long, maybe for just 15-30 minutes.
Wait underarm deodorizer how can you use it for just 15-30 mins mate? i mean when we use Aloe Vera for our underarm this will take Whole day to take effect right?
or else you only need to scrub it and then washing or cleansing ? sorry i never try this thats why i am asking as i also have Aloe vera plants in my garden and i am considering trying it but my concern is the odor.

Will keep trying different natural alternatives until I find something that is safe and can last longer than what I currently use without having to cut down large part of a plant just for my armpit. Feels abit selfish.
Will try to explore fruits, leaves, etc... probably mixed with small amount of aloe vera juice

Usually, underarm deodorizers can not stay for a long time. As far as I know, when you use Aloe Vera, that is for temporary and then you need to wash with water, and then you can use underarm deodorizers. At least, that is what I did when I use Aloe Vera on my hair and face.
Scrub it and then washing or cleansing is okay. The odor will be temporary, you do not have to worry.

Anyway thanks for the input mate and yeah that make sense now.

Lol, isn't it that people like their own smell and its just others who find it disgusting? Like with farts.

For me deodorant is mandatory, every day after taking a shower. Parfum is good too but I only use it when going out and special occasions.

Ofcourse. I'm referring to the natural ones. And I hope people understand what natural means. It has to be in its pure natural state, without being badly altered, processed or added with synthetic substances. If it must be processed, it must be done in a way that it doesn't altered or reduced its good/nutritional value or even change its quality from good to bad. The processed ones should still be edible and safe

I don't use usually. But unless i sweat. Because things we eat effects our smell of sweat.

Deodorant won't work if you eat pastirma (Turkish pastrami).

lol even you don't sweat yet there will be a Body odor underarms so it is necessary to put anti body odor either natural or chemically but what is important that we don't smell bad when getting close to others.

Has anyone tried myrrh? ...Myrrh is natural substance that is extracted from trees. Currently using it and it seems to be working... I'm not sure if it's something else though or just the myrrh.
One interesting thing about myrrh is that some claim it's edible. I learnt months ago that in ancient times people put them in their wine, use it for medicine etc. Will need to use it for sometimes to be sure it's the myrrh wrorking and not something else

Ofcourse, I'm aware that combining certain natural substances together like those you listed may help , but I try to limit this to one or very few safe substances for the sake of simplicity and to list things that are common or readily available in the countries of most/all readers.
I actually saw videos that recommended lemon, baking soda, plus multiple mixtures, I didn't consider them very much due to issue simplicity, availability and safety also.

I think that any self-respecting person uses deodorant. otherwise, you will smell like a sick dog. just pick the deodorant that works best for you. and I also recommend changing deodorants, then the body does not get used to them and the deodorant does its job better. after all, we are not living in the 18th century, let's smell delicious, not stink like a trash can

If yes, how safe is the deodorant? I realized sometimes ago that what we rub on our skin/body eventually get absorbed into the body, and I decided to be careful with the kind of things I rub on my body.   In my opinion, if it's not safe for consumption/eating don't rub it on your skin.
I think it would be better to use the natural alternatives, but where can we get those from? Do you know of any that's very effective and safe?

I can recommend herbal products. I, like you, have concerns about the use of such products. You will be satisfied with the products you will obtain from the places that sell organic products.

Very interesting. Will definitely try it. Luckily we have the plant in our home and I even drank the juice this morning.
Will be so glad if that really works
Used Aloe Vera yesterday and it works really well for me. Just hope the tiny armpit creatures don't get resistant to it. Will probably try alum too someday to see if can be good antiperspirant.
 Thanks to shasha80 for sharing.

I'm happy if my suggestions can help your problem, I only tell what I know and use. Because sensitive skin like me, It's not easy to find suitable
ingredients that don't cause irritation. but as long as I use aloe vera no side effects appear. There was once who suggested using alum,
but after i use it a few times it makes my skin dry and irritated. Unfortunately I am not suitable for using alum, I hope your skin is suitable
for alum, because like I said my skin is very sensitive.

Thanks for the aloe vera suggestion once more. It's actually part of my safe options.
Currently trying Myrrh/Frankincense(mixed in some of the tree's bark), both are actually working beyond my expectations... Still need some work to do to determine how safe they are.

Will try grinding them together and rubbing them in powdery form. I currently use them in their "crude form".

Um, yes, but it's better to use crystal, it's not harmful to the skin and lasts a long time.
