Vintage, Darkmago and Frank have been removed from PlayTime's roster.
Also, Team Nemesis released their entire roster. Astini, rubikon, 4nalog, Lelis and Yamsun are now free agents. Jabz still has contract with the org but it's benched. Highly unlikely they will rebuild around him.

K1 won't make a comeback because he never left. He plays for Amaru. He just couldn't qualify to any tier 1 tournament. And he will never play mid. That's completely out of question. I agree with the take on Wisper and go as far as saying Wisper is by far the best player in South America.
If you remember, in the past, midlane was always a problem for South American teams. South America was blessed by very talented carries, decent offlaners, but very poor midlaners. Pakazs, Parker, K1, Wits, Yuma on carry. Wisper, ILICH, Sacred, Frank for offlaners. And then for mid there was SMASH, Chris Luck, Darkmago, TaiLung, 4nalog, Slatems. 2 of those midlaners were matchfixers. And ChrisLuck/4nalog are just mediocre. Midlane has been a problem for SA for years.
I remember the peak of Chris Luck but he became out of touch. Well, there's really lack of good mid laners there and I think that there are some prodigy's in that region when they try to look for it but not for now. Vintage, Darkmago and Frank have been removed from PlayTime's roster.

Oh, so including frank in the 322. That's bad, he's also a good offlane. And for Team Nemesis, I guess that they're going to pass for now since they haven't qualify for the TI.

Yesterday, MibrLos defeated Lyon by a resounding 2-0. After losing to HLE and JDG respectively, the teams faced each other and Lyon had no chance. The final score was 29-51 for the Brazilian team. But I think the Brazilian campaign ends definitively today at EWC 2026; yesterday, Fúria was eliminated right at the beginning.
With most groups having an LCK/LPL team, it's inevitable since CBLOL isn't that competitive, but it's interesting to see them eliminate LYON first. The groups are so brutal that even G2 couldn't make it out of their group and got rolled by DK in the second qualification match. The Knockout stage is already set and i'm interested to see how Gen.G holds up against legit opponents since they had the easiest group stage, only facing LEC and LCS teams.

Second day of Dota 2 playoffs begins in 10 minutes and I think Vici Gaming will somehow manage to win 1 map against Falcons and with a bit of luck they can actually defeat them and eliminate them for good. I think Vici is also the last true China Dota team who are not playing for 322 and sus games and we can see them in their game style during the fights.
BTW , does anyone know what will happen with DarkMago from PlayTime ? it should be perma banned right ? and from now one hopefully Valve will do a better job to prevent betting scandals.

I was seeing that Furia released their training data. And against the LPL and LCK they managed to win in some cases and draw in others, but they always managed to put on a good performance. They're not managing to translate that training game to the Stage.

You're right on the money with that call, as Vici 2-0'd Team Falcons earlier. I don't know what happened with the Falcons draft, but they outdrafted themselves twice with the Snapfire mid and Windranger offlane in map one, and then Dawnbringer in game two. I wasn't expecting to see VG getting this far, but it's good to see another Chinese team hit their stride just before TI. As for DarkMago, he's likely banned by ESL since they're also managing the EWC for Dota. Even if he doesn't get banned by Valve, his career is cooked.

Too sad for the South American region, they're starting to gain traction to be honest but then with a bad move everything falls apart. I guess that it's only China that can 322 that no one will see how it's being done. As for Nemesis, they will be competing in 3 days for EPL Masters, with a new roster. Still unknown roster. Jabz is the CEO lol. He's never get kicked and stays with the organization. This nemesis org will never get its own roster because they keep on changing from time to time.

Well, you say China can 322 without being caught, but they are the only region where their entire tier 2 and up-and-coming talent was completely ravaged by a ban-wave. South America is next, if anyone cares. SEA is also a pit of matchfix, but at least they do it at their own shitty tournaments like this "Lunar Horse 8" coming up. South americans do it straight up at important qualifiers and majors. As for Nemesis, i am pretty sure(99%) Jabz is not CEO lol. Jabz simply has a longer duration contract and that's why he wasn't kicked along with the rest. If memory serves me right, Team Nemesis is like a rebrand of Into the Breach org, owned by the same people.

You know what really pisses me off. They have a very decent pos 1 player, 18 years old that is still building his own career and these old bloods are risking everything to sabotage his future as well. They had solid chances actually, they were pretty good for a half baked teams on DreamLeague29 Even if he doesn't get banned by Valve, his career is cooked.
No one in their sane mind would even want him on their team already. The Knockout stage is already set and i'm interested to see how Gen.G holds up against legit opponents since they had the easiest group stage, only facing LEC and LCS teams.
This is gonna be another Gen.G vs T1 again I guess. Its not that I hate it but at this stage, its kinda lame that over the last 3 years or so its always these two that made it to the top.

The quarterfinals has concluded, and now there's only three LCK teams + Karmine Corp remaining. For the upcoming matches, it's going to be T1 vs KC and Gen.G vs Dplus in the semis. T1 seems to be performing well, so I believe they'll go 2-0 against KC. As for Gen.G, I think it's going to be a tough fight against Dplus, since they were able to win against BLG. It will be close, but I think it will go 2-1 for the defending EWC champions.

Before the upsets, I thought it'd be an HLE vs Gen.G final, but T1 adapted well with their drafts, and the others were jokingly saying it was only because the tournament name had "World" in it. Upsets galore, it's insane that not a single LPL team failed to make it to the semis when they had two favorites out of the three QF matches. I also think the LCK derby on the other side will be close since DK is playing out of their minds and might be hungry for that prize money now that the bad news came out about their org delaying their salaries.
