Bitcoin would probably be on the top of my list because bitcoin has proven itself time and time again that it will be able to do what it promised to do and I think it's more than what it promised to do because it was just supposed to be an alternative but it became an asset that turned the lives of many people.

You can invest your money to any top ten crypto-currency. You can invest such as- eth, btc, bch, doge, xrp, cake for long term and I also invest my money. But, if you invest for more profit, then you should know the coins history and analysis and read about the news. I see two coins which is good for future such as- youc and cake.

This is good advice, unless a newbie took the time to learn a lot before coming to this market then most likely they are going to make all kind of mistakes that will cost them a lot of money and if they invested all their capital from the beginning then their losses are going to be massive, so it is important that at the beginning they only use a small amount of money so when those mistakes come then they do not lose as much of it and they can still trade and invest once they learn from those mistakes.
Most of the new users that are in the market during this rally came to the market because of the hype it created like every time and then there were many influential tweets from a few people that have millions of followers made an impact in the market and i certain that fifty percentage would not study about the market before investing and they are here to make quick buck because someone influential they follow made a remark and if they are not careful they would loose their money.

The only coin i invest in the long term is Bitcoin and its forks which i am holding for a long time and i do invest in the hype market but i do have a short term target rather than holding for the long term.
Unfortunately this is the truth, newbies get attracted by what they read on social media and the ads and think that making money in the markets is easy, it seems they do not understand the nature of the markets at all, after all if you are earning money then that means that someone else has to lose money and if you are winning big then many are losing big, and with this in mind it is reasonable to expect that it should be really hard to make money, but they do not think that far ahead and deceive themselves only to lose a great deal of their capital when they make their first trades.

Just try to compare into those last years or several back into those top altcoins in the market in terms of ranking? If you had invested for that in long term then you could definitely able to make money if you do able to  sell out when everything is going up or simply when bitcoin hit back in 65k.

Investment decisions is something would really differ on each person because not all would really be having that kind of similar mindset and perception towards certain projects.

If we do really use up our own common sense, then why not stick out on the current top ranking ones?

remember that not all cryptocurrencies make you profitable just choose 2 or 3 only. the first recommendation is of course Bitcoin then ethereum and binance coin. I invested long-term in the three cryptocurrencies I mentioned, all three have performed very well in the market over the last few years.

For newbies, I know that you are trying to find gems here on forum. I feel you and I've been there before but you have to know that these suggestions are pure speculation and you still have to do your own research. The first most profound investment that anyone could suggest to you is Bitcoin. If you hold for years to come, you could potentially be earning big with this revolutionary currency.

Anybody could also tell you to invest in Top 20 alts in the market. These alts aren't that string compare to Bitcoins adoption but you should learn and hold those alts with utility not those meme ones.

Now the cryptocurrency ecosystem has grown to an unprecedented scale. If earlier we had at our disposal only bitcoin and ether as the basis and a bunch of crap in the form of alcoins, now there are many different independent blockchains of different directions. Do your own research and choose projects that improve the ecosystem, transaction speed, and usability. Look for the "killers" of the main coins.

There is nothing like killers of the main project, because every project reaching the market take the major ones as the reference. So, the new ones on the market try to solve the issues on the main ones that are much into discussion. Some succeed in this process and the same reflects on the growth margin. Most of the time these new projects make the major ones go for updation of new elements to keep them strong against the new ones.

If you have a huge asset and don't know where to invest, I recommend you to invest in bitcoin for quick profits, and if you want to invest in other altcoins, I believe in ETH, BNB, BCH…
BCH, nah.

Bitcoin for quick profits? it's better if you're going to have the thought that it's good for long term profits. Because that's how it should be and you're going to make more by doing that.

ETH and BNB are good choices.

I've been trying to find the most undervalued coins in these past few months specially this bearish season isn't coming to its end any time soon. I've found some interesting coins and probably good for holding. For me, I've invested heavily to Bitcoin native coin called SOVRYN. The DeFi for Bitcoin isn't hardly recognized up until now. I'm holding my coins up to 4 years for full profit added by accumulated liquid SOV by staking.

Actually Bitcoin and Ethereum both coins for longer periods investment coins, if you consider Bitcoin at 2013 when it's priced $67 per Bitcoin but 8 years investment periods it's price the highest maximum $61000. What's a profit!!!

With Bitcoin the prices have been increasing every year (irrespective of the temporary fluctuations). During the beginning of 2013, the price was around $10 per coin, and by mid-2013 there was the first bull run which took the prices from $10 to $250. And then again, by the end of that year the second bull run occurred, which took the prices to $1,250 per coin. But the first spike occurred in 2011 and not in 2013. When Wikipedia started accepting BTC, the unit price rose from $3 to $30 in a few days (mid-2011).

You are a newbie in the market. For the safest you should invest in bitcoin or eth. These are the two safest coins for all investors, not just for newbies like you.
You should take the time to research and learn to get your knowledge before you start diversifying your investment into the market.
Don't be impatient and wish you success with crypto.

sometimes by choosing an unpopular altcoin hoping to provide extraordinary returns, but unfortunately they don't have enough knowledge so they are afraid to be trapped in risk therefore indeed by choosing a larger cap it will provide comfort and security for their initial funds, we know bitcoin or eth, without even analyzing I think it is still feasible
Yeah and where you can find these gems? Here in the forum specially the Altcoin announcement section. You can find the whitepaper of almost all projects here and decide whether you invest in such or not. I know BTC is the most popular crypto but it is also good to have undervalued altcoins to believe at and could potentially multiply your investment by a thousand folds.

I am a newbie who has just entered the currency circle, and I am very interested in the crypto market.
I want to try to buy some coins, but now I lack the analysis and judgment of the crypto market. Which cryptocurrency is more valuable and has appreciation potential?
My list of tokens includes: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Matic, Polkadot, DeFiPulse Index (DPI), which consists of the top DeFi tokens by market cap. And also due to hype around NFT-token, it is a good decision to have NFT Index (NFTI).
Also here is the way how I analyse coins:
The best place to look for safe investments is coinmarketcap. There is a table top-100 with the most popular tokens. I choose one that is on lows or at least not on highs and investigate details about it.

I think cryptocurrency has value or not based on its liquidity. That's why I like the cryptocurrencies that exchanges issue. Many new exchanges are supporting the projects very well and it is confidence for me to buy them.

For me at this time it is clear that Bitcoin is still very competent to be an investment, especially if you want to invest long term bitcoin is the right coin. besides that ETH is also very good for you to consider ... considering the very good development of ETH from year to year. Can be used as an option after bitcoin. If you want to know about other altcoin problems, you can look for them in this forum at the altcoin forum forum.

When it comes to my investments, I've made long-term investments into Bitcoin (BTC), Binance Coin (BNB) and Ethereum (ETH). I believe in all of these coins to reach incredible levels in some years. But I wouldn't want to affect you by saying this. I always recommend new investors to do a detailed research about cryptocurrencies. You should have a good knowledge about the project and then decide what to do.

If you have a huge asset and don't know where to invest, I recommend you to invest in bitcoin for quick profits, and if you want to invest in other altcoins, I believe in ETH, BNB, BCH…

I recommend the same, there is only one real Top crypto currency for long term investment and that is Bitcoins. In my opinion, BTC should be the largest position in our long term crypto portfolio. If we are looking for diversification than buying into ETH can be a good idea as well, but bitcoins should always be number one.
When it comes to my investment, I decided to have a long term investments into Bitcoin, Binance Coin and Ethereum since they already prove everything in crypto world about them. Even if it increase in a small percentage price but at least we can gain profit. I also believe in these coins because it reach an incredible level every year and these coins are trusted. These coins are still very competent to be an investment especially if it is a long term investment. You can also search for those cryptocurrency that is good for a long term investment for you to know what to do, have the idea on what to choose and what coins to invest.

I am a newbie who has just entered the currency circle, and I am very interested in the crypto market.
I want to try to buy some coins, but now I lack the analysis and judgment of the crypto market. Which cryptocurrency is more valuable and has appreciation potential?

Currently my crypto portfolio is around $1600 maybe very small compared to other members here, from $1600 the largest is Cardano (around 45%), then ethereum around 25% and the rest TRON, Bitcoin, Sushi Swap, HEX and 10 other tokens.
