And seems the first announcments are not on bitcointalk, so my question is: Where to get latest DEFI token news?

There is a website by the name defipulse, here you will find the list of all defi tokens circulating in the market. There is also a ranking of these tokens based on the amount of USD locked in their environment. They only list those tokens that are circulating in the market, they do not list upcoming Defi ICOs. You can also check CMC to find out the market cap of these tokens.

Yeah. Coinmarketcap is the place to be. They have most of the reference you need and you can just filter the defi coins and learn about them. For the general trend and stats about users and volume and sudden changes in preference of market, I use dappradar. They provide good info about how the users and volume are moving and who is leading on specific sectors. |

Don't rely on news. Actually don't get too much attention of those upcoming projects for it really is difficult to assess whether it will going to succeed or not. The investment you will going to make in a def project if ever will just be at risk. So try to invest in establish crypto may it be altcoins or bitcoin.

Twitter had always been the fastest after a news was announced. That's where they attack customers now, social media.
Just open your notifications and follow DEFI groups and you'll get it every morning or as soon as they sniffed the news. There are times it gets irritating but you will just have to be patient about it.
They don't go bitcointalk forum that fast, mostly it will be members who bought the DeFi token that will try to boost it's market for their own gain.

I have got the latest info from Twitter because usually the new project always prioritizes Twitter to attract new investors by doing promos everywhere. For now Twitter remains the fastest platform to get the latest info about Cryptocurrency and of course a new project. It's in my opinion. You only need to find a trusted account that is usually always updated about the new project or share about the latest news.
