Robinhood COO: We have enabled more women to trade crypto.
Gretchen Howard described crypto investments "stereotyped as a male-dominated space,” but she has seen significant growth for women during her two years at Robinhood.

Funnily how they're trying to force certain genders into certain industries.

Nursing, education, and social-related jobs are female dominated; whereas physical-related , computer-related, and architecture jobs are male dominated. WHICH IS TOTALLY FINE.

Robinhood COO: We have enabled more women to trade crypto.

I'm curious, how is Robinhood particularly enabling the participation of more women in cryptocurrency trading? I mean, is there a specifically unique feature on its platform which somehow caters or interests more to women than men?

I guess most of these gender talks when it comes to the online world of crypto trading are irrelevant. Crypto trading is generally gender-neutral. It doesn't require a minimum amount of physical strength, height, pain tolerance, or whatever which could be attached more to one gender than the other.

That's because they want to make it look like they care about gender equality, women empowerment and other feminism things while most companies are still tolerating sexual harassment against women. Also, Robinhood is still shitty as it is even if they are making women empowered in trading and breaking the stereotype that they are only for masculine, remember that they sold the stocks of their users without permission.

Maybe there is a little difference in other aspects, such as risk appetite, logical thinking, emotional.

This is not gender discrimination, but these differences are real.

You missed the main point which was the COO of a business to advertise that business to a racist and sexist nation by saying they are not like others and are bringing their services to everyone, while they are actually just as bad as everyone else Tongue.

This claim by Robinhood is basically like the meme " I'm not like the other girls/boys because I watch this obscure TV show and I hate pop culture and I only listen to obscure and alien noise bands like KFC Murder Chicks". What many people don't know is probably in the office of Robinhood, there's a lot of their female employees that gets harrassed everyday, talk about hypocritical companies. People don't believe what Robinhood employees say because they just want to please your moral side so you can try out their services.

The emotional thing will be the difference between women and men. But I doubt that women will show themselves that they are women because if they are interested in crypto trading, they will try by themselves and not tell others. But I am curious about what they do because we do not know who the traders are except the exchanges themselves when it comes to exchanges when the exchanges require traders to verify KYC. If the exchange does not require KYC, then nobody knows about the traders. But I agree that women already have an interest in crypto and start crypto trading.

This is feminist propaganda and nothing else.
Is anyone or anything stopping women from trading cryptocurrencies or having a Bitcoin wallet?I don't think so.
The cryptocurrency industry is male dominated, because men are usually more tech savvy and more interested into financial stuff.Women are more than welcome in the cryptocurrency world, but it's not our problem, that the vast majority of women don't express any interest in digital finance and blockchain technology.

Robinhood COO: We have enabled more women to trade crypto.

OMG! All other exchanges have banned women from trading? Do other exchanges respond with a sexist message whenever a woman tries to register?

This is just a marketing gimmick of these companies to create goodwill and brand image. It is surprising how certain companies pretend to be implementing ESG (environmental, social and governance) model to look cool.

Good for them but why is this even newsworthy? cryptocurrency and exchange sites can literally be used by anyone who can. it's not like cryptocurrency or exchange sites have rules that exclusively restrict women. Things like this are always cringe-worthy. they make an issue or a "supposed" issue in order for them to look good and possibly attracting new clients. the saddest part is that there are people who will fall for this.

Men aren't inherently more tech savvy or interested in financial stuff, that's just how American culture has been thus far, and doesn't have to continue to be. For the past century, really verging on since the beginning of kingdoms in Europe, men have been designated the role of money maker, simply because they could physically control those who might wish to take that role instead, specifically women. At the same time, historically it has also no been acceptable for men to show as much emotion/empathy and thus women have dominated the industries where it is beneficial for someone to be more emotional and show more empathy for others. The reason more men are more interested than women in these industries is because society has formed us that way. While this shit about robinhood is kinda bs, and a ridiculous manipulation play, the rest of you guys are completely downplaying the importance of having diversity of thought in all aspects of life, including crypto and financial industries. You should care, because history tells us that when more people have a voice at the table, more ideas are presented and more successful achievements are made. There's nothing inherently stopping women from joining these industries, the same as men joining women dominated fields, but the societal expectations are pushing people into predefined boxes which is rather absurd. You should be pushing for diversity if you really want bitcoin and crypto to prosper. At the very least, it means more buyers and more demand, making your coins worth more.

I don't think that there are more women who are trading crypto than men because, in my own opinion, men are the one who has a lot of experience and time on exploring this kind of stuff, unlike girls who doesn't have any interest on this kind of stuff. If there's a proper study that declaring women have a lot than men who are trading then probably post in this thread so many people will agree on your side.

Inclusion is important but I really think men are usually way more interested in finance and tech in comparison to women. With all due respect, women are naturally more into fashion and other industries. With that being said, if more women want to get involved in trading/tech they should be allowed to get involved without any stereotyping.

Yup women traders is increasing nowadays but not that often like men traders because base on what i saw women prefer to make it as a sideline and they set a schedule to trade.. Unlike men that give up their jobs to focus in trading.  Grin so what I'm trying to say here is women cannot give a  big contribution in crypto because most of them are afraid in it.

A few cryptocurrency trades and online brokerage firms are detailing an increment within the number of women exchanging crypto within the past year. A few are anticipating that number to rise encourage, much appreciated in portion to investors’ more noteworthy mindfulness of the resource course, their crave to purchase into hot markets and the guarantee of boosting their reserve funds. At the same time, a few individuals who are utilizing unstable markets to spare uncover themselves to the chance of having months of picks up wiped out when the winds move.

There is actually no problem for women to enter cryptocurrency, but generally women should not be interested in this aspect, and cryptocurrency does not mean that only men can trade. Now that more and more people know about cryptocurrency, this is the beginning, but for women, it is because they are more emotional and will miss many opportunities. But a lot of encryption knowledge still needs to be learned,

In the crypto market, there are indeed fewer women than men. I don't think it is necessary to care too much about this. Whoever is interested in cryptocurrency will take the initiative to pay attention to the market. This can only show that men are more interested in this aspect, but now I feel that some female players are slowly entering the encryption field, welcome to join.
