If you look at their site stats, it shows the accounts is at 620.24k already. That's actually huge number. But we don't know the number of active players from that number. However, this may be reason why we are seeing their ads outside the forum before they decided to create their thread here. They already captured a lot of players. Won't be surprised if they will not run any promotional campaign here in the forum but would be nice if they do.

First, referral codes/links normally aren't allowed with the rare exceptions that you are the owner of the site itself or a "tipster". Bitgame is my website and I'm advertising it here through a thread.

For example, the owner of  freebitco.in ,hyperlinked an image leading to his site which was advertised under his referral link - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=319540.0 hover over the image and you will see his referral link. I did the same thing and hyperlinked an image of my site under my referral link when advertising my site.

Note that I am not technically new to the forum. I have been here for mainly four months just observing and of course working on front/back ends of my site before introducing it to the forum.

No, I can't recall hearing about that complaint but my support team likely handled it. "Minor" complaints like that normally get passed to my support team from the user while bigger ones like bugs or glitches are brought to my attention and I work with the devs to sort that out.
