Yep, it is not a normal thing anymore. How can someone continue to think about gambling strategy while sleeping? It is surely a sign of addiction. Exactly. It is a huge allocation for gambling. Although I love gambling, I won't spend 20% of my monthly income on gambling. I think 5% is more than enough to use for gambling since there are too many other things that are more urgent than gambling.

Somehow the inner voice in us won't be heard when we focused more on trying to get back the loss. The needier the person is of money the more he tries to bet hoping to earn back which discipline is ignored. I think most of us had experienced this before which is why the strategy like Martingale had been conceptualized by the kind of gamblers. Earning all back with just one big win is a smart idea so it's attracting us.

You are already into deep when you are giving collateral to ask loan for gambling purposes. It's beyond the line and when the loan shark ask for the money and interest, you already are in danger. Those guys can take your liver and sell it for you to pay. We've heard news of these casino loan sharks that are notorious for asking for a ransom to family members when you can't pay your loan.

That's a huge addiction there if you already into the part that you are asking for loan just for the sake of gambling,

and that is also a total stupidity , imagine taking a loan to risk and lose in gambling? what is the assurance that he will win to pay it back.

Not a good thing since those kind of situation is really possible, loaners who are notorious really deal with such kinds of actions,

Gamblers don't realize they are addicted to gambling until it's worse which they've done unthinkable already like breaking the piggybank of his kid just so he could gamble again. In my opinion, unfortunately, self-discipline cannot help a person who suffers from gambling addiction ...

He is already sick.  He needs to be treated.  Many doctors believe that gambling addiction is not cured at all.  

In my opinion, this is not the case.  There is a chance to get rid of gambling addiction.  However, this is the path of the brave.  One addiction can be overcome with another addiction.  I don't know any other option...  There is another option, though!

Another option is to enter the monastery as a simple novice.

Sorry mate but talking about addiction in gambling wont put conscience in situation because a addicted gambler leaves all the good traits and all that remains is the desire to gamble and gamble even what will be the consequences , I have few friends that had already experience this matter and observing them and also their stories proves how their good attitude leaves them out because of gambling desires .

There's a lot of signs either small or big and we have different signs based on different person, me sometimes I'm playing dice game on my mind which it leads me on playing dice game even if I already use my gambling budget. What you have to understand is that I don't spend more money than I allocate to gambling. I have a balance of $80 and I play nonstop in 4 hours or in one session but in the end my balance is almost exactly the same as the initial balance. Obviously I'm a gambling addict, but that doesn't mean what I'm doing has taken away control of my gambling.

And to be honest (maybe I’m from a poor country and don’t understand something  ) I cannot imagine the structure of expenses where gambling would take 20%. There should probably always be more important spending than this entertainment.

Less or more 20% on your monthly income wouldnt matter as long you do able to sustain yourself and since people does have different situation in terms of income and spending or lifestyle depending on where

 20% is indeed a big portion into your monthly income which it should be less if you do really mind on prioritizing over things than with gambling.

Addiction is only happening when you are spending way more than in your limit.It wouldnt matter what percentage as long you do have the limit.

I see one reasonable option for spending such a large part of income on gambling - if a person has huge savings and current income does not have much influence on his life, then if he wants, he can even spend 100 percent on gambling. All other options look dubious to me, although I am not saying that this is an addiction, just a wrong decision (in my subjective opinion).

If you play with your 80 bucks and you bankroll always stays the same, I wouldn't call you an addict as you obviously don't fall victim to certain behaviors that addicts are well known for, like winning back what you just lost at all cost and so on.

I would understand if it's a physical dice that he actually rolls the dice by his hand but online dice?  I can't imagine adjusting and click 2x in my mind. I'm not sure if it's addiction. You really have a photographic memory of the interface of the casino before you could actually do this.
