Been looking eagerly at this coin perhaps when that market turns to a healthier state I may hop in to get some bag. We are still on the sideways market though. I still believe the bull run may it get this 2021 4th quarter again and alts will surge like crazy.

this is be my favourite coin at this moment , i see there are alot interested developtment in this project. IF you buy cosmos at$9 , today you earn profit $4 for each coins and its more than 50% from  your investment. with highest price around $37 , its still have big gap to filled and be our opportunity.

There are still far away to compete with ethereum but maybe with Polkadot.
With a gap that is not too big, I think Cosmos can compete with Polkadot but Cosmos now is at 27 while Polkadot is at 9 positions on Coingecko.
We will see which one can increase first because both Polkadot and Cosmos will have the same opportunity to increase.
I already bought some Cosmos and Polkadot, but I still wait for the next bull run.
I bought Cosmos at $12 and Polkadot at $15. It seems hard to see both ATOM and DOT down below $10, but we will see it later and I will buy more.

The Polcadot has a very clear policy. Polcadot coins are needed to vote for parachains, and in return receive coins for free from projects. It's like an endless wallet.
This is the advantage of the Polkadot over ATOM.
ATOM can be used for control and staking, but Cosmos has better conditions for other parachains. These are their own validators and do not need to participate in the auction.

Cosmos is definitely a great project and i am pretty sure that their ecosystem will continue to grow and will still be around in 5 or more years as an alternative to Ethereum, Polkadot and others as you already said. So if you are a long term investor then cosmos can definitely be an option for you. Plus it also have nice staking options which give you a little passive income as a little bonus on top. I personally don't own any Cosmos because i just missed the train back then and i can't get myself to invest into a project that already did a x10 or a x20 because i always feel that i am too late then to have the chance for really life changing profits. If the price drops to below 10$ or even below 5$ then i definitely will buy some cosmos.

Admittedly, I have little idea about Cosmos. I have not been very involved with the project so far and I am not invested. But I also wanted to invest in projects that can compete with Ethereum. During my research, I came across Solana and Waves and invested in both around a year ago. Both have developed extremely well in recent months. Much better than Bitcoin and Ethereum. Maybe these projects would be worth a look for you.

Ethereum will have a decrease in the number of coins due to burning.
Cosmos has an unlimited number of coins and every year the number of coins increases by 10%.
Doesn't it bother you?
Many coins will be staked, but the total number of coins on the market will increase.

Polkadot was marketed as an inter operable blockchain network, sadly! I haven't seen any project on its Blockchain that utilizes the same purpose.

Except a few upcoming NFT projects, which are not yet conclusive, I do not think you will see a huge price pump.

Cosmos I am not sure what makes you think it has something unique? Just like others it has nothing better than to follow what Ethereum can and pray the Gas fee go up again.

ATOM is not a bad asset. but currently, the market is not as well supported as MATIC and DOT. both are more popular this year compared to ATOM.
but we don't know how the development will come in the future. maybe your plan to invest here will make a profit. because I'm sure you've made a good investment plan with market analysis from ATOM.

Cosmos was pretty popular way back years ago but the emergence of the defi projects somehow  cover the popularity of this coin.  I am also interested in this one and might get in before it gets hyped hard and get the attention of people that had lost investment on fail defi projects.

Most crypto investors that is in for a short term investment don't mind the annual inflation of a coin.  And  a year in crypto space feels like eons.

I heard about this project a few years ago, unfortunately I don't like Cosmos (ATOM) because the number of tokens is unlimited, and at that time I thought that this altcoin is just a meme coin, and will sink in a few months, so I didn't invest in Cosmos.  (ATOM ), it turns out that my estimate was totally wrong because until now ATOM is still surviving in crypto and has a pretty good price, if market conditions start to normalize then I will recommend ATOM to be a long term investment,

The ATOM token is not showing itself badly while the market is falling Atom has grown during this week from $31 to $43.98 or by more than 40% almost reaching its ATH.
