Ergo coin is going to play a vital role in PoW algorithm mining because it's the next minable coin with smart contracting, the use case that this project possess is very good compare to raven coin so I believe it will be a good alternative for long term if EIP1559 have a huge negative effect on its PoW mining reward, what do you think?

I think it is great to know at first.However I don't think the Ethereum upgrade 2.0 will happen anytime soon even if developers of Ethereum say so.They have been missing deadlines for quite a few years now and I think this is going to happen again which is in the benefit of all us,miners.However if the inevitable happens and Ethereum moves to 2.0 most probably we will all switch to Ergo at first and some may switch to ETC. Regarding Ravencoin I am quite confident it will rise in price and really big because it is a fork of the Bitcoin code and the developers are seasoned developers so I expect this coin to increase in value in the future and I think 1.5-3 USD as an all time high to happen in the next big crypto bull run. |

Regarding Ravencoin I am quite confident it will rise in price and really big because it is a fork of the Bitcoin code and the developers are seasoned developers so I expect this coin to increase in value in the future and I think 1.5-3 USD as an all time high to happen in the next big crypto bull run.
ETH devs already got all the money they wanted, they want a break now, the bait and switch worked, now their focus is the next major hard fork which will happen around in 2024-2025. People holding eth and expecting price going up dramatically will be very disappointed. Speculative, ETH 2.0 is 5k price, eth 1.0 is 100 usd price, so do not be alarmed if eth 1.0 go to 6k and then crash to 100 usd. |

if ergo ASIC that will be developed is not go very far in efficiency/hashrate vs gpus, it might work well for gpu miners mid to long term.
ASIC should not go beyond x4-x5 efficiency hashrate vs gpus, then it is good. at least like ETH, those who aren't using HBM and gddr6x are still in the ~2017 era in terms of tech vs new ASICs.

I use a monitor, but I need it for a very short time to set up and test the farm or to troubleshoot. For these purposes, I use any CRT or LCD old monitors that can be bought for 5-15 dollars.
Then I use remote control, and it doesn't matter what operating system is used: Windows or Linux.
But Linux is much more convenient.

Ergo was good but now many mining and profit gone very low. Pow coins must use fee system like eth does. block rewards gets low high. When block same size and many miners join network then profit goes down.

I don't think the EIP 1559 will be enough to reduce the GPU mining profitability to justify the migration towards another coin. EIP 1559 is estimated to cut the profitability between 10-25%. It's more when The Merge will happen with ETH 2.0 that we will see all the GPU miners switching to another coin. I was watching an interview from Son of a Tech with the core developer of Ergo Alexander Chepurnoy and it's encouraging for GPU miners. When you follow the updates with ETH, you see that the Beacon Chain is live and working fine for quite some times. There's already 190,788 active validators on the Beacon Chain and they make good money already and they will make even more when The Merge will be done because they will start to also pocket the gas. It's probable that The Merge will be postponed again but not in 2024-2025. This is why I started to build a Server and stack ETH to run a node validator. You only need 16 ETH on RocketPool to run a node when the mainnet will be launch in Q3 of 2021. |

Ergo could become ASIC resistant, this is a concern that the Ergo community will work on soon. |

Only time will tell
1. I believe that PoW algorithm is here to stay
2. ETH 2.0 might not happen and get postponed again
3. Even if it happens the difference in profitability won't be huge, ETH will remain profitable still
4. Ergo is a good PoW coin and it's looking better than raven coin
5. There are many PoW coins out there that miners can switch to if ETH goes down
To me PoW algorithm still have a long way to go and we will have more projects that will be here if ETH isn't a thing anymore
