Logically, how is it possible to hold back the investment while stay in hungry for the sake of profit, what happens is that you get sick and it becomes an additional cost. It's really a tempting period for Bitcoin investors considering the constant dip we have been experiencing for a while. I was once adviced to sell my coin when I had an issue that needed money urgently but I objected it took me quite a long time to hodl and loosing them now isn't a healthy idea at all.

If you did that in 2019, only two years of waiting, maybe you are now a billionaire with the Bitcoin assets you saved at that time.

I'm not sure about the current state of the market, it makes me a little dizzy to make long-term investments in Bitcoin, If I certainly don't maintain it, it's useless I buy $35,000/btc and it becomes $30,000/btc, I'd be crazy if that happened.

In my experience, for now I don't want to take long-term risks, instead make short-term trades, buy, monitor, sell, and so on, until the Bitcoin price is really stable to buy long term, that's my idea for me personally.

investing is like saving, but by investing we will get several benefits including the value of our assets will continue to grow, it is different if we save in a bank, where our money will remain the same. but if we force to invest, while the necessities of life are not fulfilled, I don't think it's a wise decision, it's better to invest according to our ability to set aside money

There is nothing wrong in selling at the right time, saying that you rather go hungry than selling your coins is a bit extreme to me, i agree that selling under the circumstances is not advisable because that will be selling off your coins for pennies, however, it won't be nice if you will deliberately starve yourself even when the right time to sell is in front of you just to hold onto your coins, I don't think Sir satoshi will be happy with you either on that decision my friend

I think that by this it just meant that you are managing finances poorly. You can't put all your eggs in one basket. I don't know if you're saying this from the heart but I won't dare to hold my Bitcoin while my stomach is hungry...

people work hard to fill their stomachs to stay full, many even pick up leftovers food just to fill their stomachs. I am also a BTC holder but when I have to be forced to exchange it to fiat then I will do that.

maybe he have other sources to get money  and to buy a food?  but he only dont want to use his btc no matter what .
 well that was his decision but for us we dont mind spending some btc to full fill our needs and no need to find money somewhere else because btc is also  a money and its available on hand. btc fluctuates and the price could come down for us to buy again.

After all, buying food is a basic human need, without food humans can die. It is better to sell the Bitcoins that we have if we are hungry, unless we
have other sources of income to buy food, not selling the Bitcoins we have it's fine. Because for me buying food is an important thing that must be
fulfilled, if I really had to sell my Bitcoins to buy food, I will do it. I always buy Bitcoin with extra money, meaning that after all my needs are met,
and it turns out that there is still money left, then I will buy Bitcoin.

this is a good example that all of us will do because investing is risky and there could be no assurance that our expectations will met but buying the things that are more important is guaranteed to make our life a little better .

I agree that bitcoin is very much profitable in the long and mid-term and you can get amazing profit on it. But, regardless if we are talking about bitcoin, stocks, gold, or anything else. I would not invest the money I need or I will need in the near future because even if you will definitely need the money for eating and paying the rents and taxes, now if you don't have the money for this stuff you can not continue the living or you will have very much unhealthy and stressful living. If I sell off my coin I might not be opportunied to buy back the coin at the exact rate I bought the previous one and had to come to a concrete decision of not selling my coin no matter the consequence. Yes it's going to be a different story if it turns out negative but what if it turns out positive. Vertually everything about life had two faces been the negative outcome or the positive there is hardly any in-between and so for me I rather take the risk and face what ever comes my way in the near future because risk is a necessity as far as investment is involved.

If it turns out positive certainly the joy would be all mine and certainly a portion of it would be rubbed on people around and if it turns out the opposite direction then I bear my loss alone. It's really my cross to bear and making this decision was out of a deep quite time I had while I was wondering if I go ahead to cash out or I maintain my hodl and from all indication I just have to maintain my hodl till I get my reward no matter the manner it would appear.

The best idea is to invest money that we will not use for a long time. While we have other income to cover even urgent daily needs. That way, we will be able to remain calm in every event. We will be able to maintain the investment plan in such a way.

It's true what you said bro, we are not stupid, don't sacrifice yourself to defend bitcoin, because without bitcoin we can live, but if we are hungry for 3 days we will die, so why hold bitcoin if our stomach is hungry, if we have savings it's okay we keep our bitcoins, but if we have no other savings, we have to sell some of our bitcoins, to cover our stomachs.
