I've been working on building a nice geodirectory platform of businesses around the globe accepting Bitcoin/Crypto, I aim to compete with CoinMap.org and Cryptwerk.com, but I'm making a few improvements in design, functionality, and features. Crypto-friendly businesses will definitely want to be listed on my website (which is free). What and where is a non-spammy way for me to share it here on BitcoinTalk?

I would say Service Announcements, as the name implies it's for services announcement (ANN) threads. Be sure to also check how the bumping system works, see: Bumping changes on some boards

But if it's still in beta and you wanna focus more on user feed backs, Project Development would suit more.

Submit something worth experimentation and find the interaction with it without asking people to get any exchange for the promotion.
This happened with Coinbee as some members were promoting the site without paying them.

You must focus on the database and how to search it with an easy update and contain unique data with some improvements to the interfaces.
In the end, the content is making the site more than interfaces.
