the most important thing to hold in the long term I think is just to be mentally prepared and don't be greedy to take profits. seems very easy to sound, but if we see price fluctuations it can disturb our mental. therefore we must be able to control emotions so that we focus on the initial goal when we start investing

It's just a technical and way to work in investment, but for a more accurate purpose here is to be able to choose good coins to place on the investment that we want to run, so that we can get some profit, regardless of the size of the big or small.

Instead of those altcoins, I highly recommend putting that in bitcoin and ethereum. There's more future to these coins but as long as you know where you are investing, that's much better because you don't rely on someone's decision. Right mate. I agree. Instead of investing in obscure coins, it is better if you venture to invest in more accurate coins like ETH. However, I recommend XRP and Top 10 coins to my friend, the account owner (Ayub83).

XRP is having trouble with regulation and is battling with SEC towards their issue. I don't recommend holding that coin but no one stops them to keep on working on their coin and with its transactions. I would just go with stronger coins that has been said and that's Eth.
It's been tested and is one of the best coins in the market and that's why I wouldn't go with other altcoins that I don't like. I only stay to those that I like.

This is based on what happened right now, we can see the significant increase of Bitcoin so far, experiencing more new ATH during this bullish era although right now the price still hits low.

And about and XRP, we know that they are also top coins. But, I am not sure that I will pick them for long-term investment. It still offers higher risks than Bitcoin.

better to diversify our assets it we would buy coins worth of $10k , its huge money amount and we have to carefuly  decided . Dont ever trapped in Hype of Fomo , always make double check before we decided to  invest . Beside existing major project , we could looking for hidden gem that suitable for long term investors.

Yes friend. It is very important to be careful in making investments, because the figure of $ 10,000 is quite large for some people who are just starting out in the investment world. Ethereum is one of the better Altcoins in my opinion than other coins for investment.

actually they're a good option when it comes long term. But for me except this two assets there is still a lot of good and trusted project in the market to rely than this two, for example binance and ADA.. Indeed XRP and TRX are not that good these year unlike other top coin .. But probably there's a chance for next year. So if i were if you're really interested in it i suggest to add those coin what I've mentioned as well because for sure you can make a good profits afterwards.. Infact $10k is too big to invest, so much better to divide it incase what will happen in the future.

I would advise the same thing, but depends on the total of a person as well. If you have a million dollars then investing 10k is not a big deal, if you have 20k then investing 10k is half of your money so that changes everything. I would say that do not invest more than 2-3% of your portfolio towards coins like XRP and TRX that are centralized, XRP is centralized as we all know how, and TRX is sort of centralized because Justin Sun decides on the future of it.

I have to say it is not really that much of a big problem if you are investing only a small portion of the money, but it would become a huge problem if you end up investing a ton of money into it. I am not saying that we should be ignoring them, but we should be so much hopeful about them neither, just know that in crypto world sometimes everything goes up together and maybe you can take advantage of that.

I think TRX and XRP for the long term are still at risk. does not mean the asset is bad. but we know how the problems of the two coins.
it's better as you say. there are BNB, ETH, and DOT that we can rely on for the long term.

Even though XRP has an unsolved problem, XRP developers find their way to keep their momentum. But consider for a long-term investment, just like you said, it wasn't a wise choice for me as well.
