Ethereum will continue being Bitcoins deputy because  btc has the most liquidity compared to eth! What does this mean, btc  has the ability to move markets far much better than eth which makes it a leader and not a follower, and fyi the two being in different leagues eth would influence most altcoins while btc will influence the entire crypto ecosystem which shows eth doesn't influence btc.
Everyone is expecting a rally in Ethereum on back of the upgrade but i doubt we will be seeing a much bigger rally because anyone planning to stake the coins already invested billions in the market and if there is any special interest from any institutional investment firm to purchase millions or billions worth of coins to stake, then we might see a rally and then i heard about their plans of burning the coins, if that is the case we might see a rally but i am yet to understand all of their upgrades.
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Binance coin is burning their coins to keep the price even higher, if Vitalik does that, it could possibly make the rise as well like what happen to BNB price. But I don't think it is a need to reach that point as I was positive that the launch of their upgrade will have good results.
This is somewhat to show that the market is in strong competition but never in mind that ETH will be close to Bitcoin. No matter how ETH  will take, Bitcoin still dominating the market.

I don't think it's possible that bitcoin will follow ethereum because for you information most of the problem in the market came from bitcoin only , so why they the entire crypto currency are affected? And despite you see that bitcoin follow ethereum which the fact that they're all just basing on what situation bitcoin have right now.. Bitcoin is the king so bitcoin only have that power to follow the entire crypto currency. And that's what we see right now.

Do you think it's possible that the Bitcoin price will follow Ethereum price in the future? When Ethereum becomes proof of stake and becomes deflationary, can it happen?
None can assume what will happen in the future so it maybe possible of maybe not , But if you are asking for the next 5 years?

then i believe that it is not possible tp happen because bitcoin is still aggressive and strong to keep hold the rank 1 position .

maybe in future who knows? but first ethereum must prove his network is much easier to use than bitcoin.

because this year Ethereum proves only one thing that when congestion comes?

it is one of the highest transaction fee coin in the while crypto world.

if that will be fixed by the version 2.0? then lets see will come.

Vitalik can do this....Does this not have to go through some kind of consensus before  you agree to undertake token burns, more over if this happens eth will lose clients to other blockchains because competition for the few coins on the market will be too high to comprehend.

Btw aren't token burns part of the  BNB tokenomics??

You are gravely wrong OP, most tokens before bitcoin tend to follow bitcoin rather than the opposite. I think there's this image about how bitcoin goes up and the other goes up too or something, although it says there that the following could be the opposite but I don't think that's exactly how it works but I am sure that bitcoin leads and others just follows.

It is always that way. Bitcoin rise then the other follows. Sometimes a coin or two move the opposite way or stay stable but it will follow them at the end.
POS effect on ETH will not be see now in my opinion but after few years.

You are wrong mate because for your information ethereum always follow on bitcoin not bitcoin itself that follow ethereum.. And most of the coin that always follow with ethereum are those alternatives crypto currency,. Of course there's an opposite results that suddenly happened as well. And you will notice that when bitcoin is green and most of alts are red including ethereum, and when ethereum is green along with some alts you will see that only bitcoin were red in the market, but to be honest ever since before there's no event that exist wherein you will see bitcoin will follow ethereum because it's very impossible to happen.

All altcoins follow the bullish market of Bitcoin and guess what that means when Bitcoin takes a hit so will the altcoins. Bitcoin takes a bigger hit because its currently more volatile than most altcoins out there but Bitcoin is the one that leads the pack. That means all the positive news and negative news will effect all the other altcoins too.

I have never really understood why people would invest in Bitcoin and ETH. Their market trend is about the same except Bitcoin profits a lot more in the long run. ETH will never be as valuable as Bitcoin.

That is not true. The waves that Bitcoin makes when it drops is huge and it might take a while for the altcoin markets the react but they definitely do react in a big way usually. You only have to take a look at some of the charts and compare the two to figure out there is a correlation between the two and Bitcoin is the one that gets the most media coverage so you can assume that is the one that is causing ETH to dip and not the other way around.

So you really think that POS is the future, in my opinion the hype behind POS will only last for a few years and then people will understand how centralized the entire market would be in a few years and i not keen on having our entire ecosystem on a centralized solution where only a few decide the fate of the token, coin or project. POW is the solution if you are looking for decentralization but we need some major improvements in that and hopefully we will have that in the coming years.

You cannot compare Binance coin and Ethereum because BNB is not a novel project all they did is to copy others and continue making a fortune and if Binance is burning the coins they might have created unlimited amount of coins and literally both the coins are premined considerably and what is the point in burning them hoping the value will increase.

Do you think it's possible that the Bitcoin price will follow Ethereum price in the future? When Ethereum becomes proof of stake and becomes deflationary, can it happen?
It all depends if he takes the number one spot and he surpass the market cap but before he can do that it should upgrade it's platform, Binance is a big threat to his position and might overtake him in his position right now Binance is the best choice for DeFi developers because of it's cheap transactions.
I honestly doubt that ethereum would ever be able to pass bitcoin. That is just a pipe dream of all ethereum holders (including me but I own bitcoin too) so it is not going to happen but people will keep dreaming about it. Think about it this way, even when ethereum is going up, bitcoin doesn't go down, it goes up as well so the gap doesn't get closed all that much.

There is a good chance that we could see the gap closing minor level, it is not going to be too much of a close though, it is going to be tiny. Think about it this way, the gap is over 2x right now, and I am sure the gap could be closed to exactly 2x marketcap instead of some change, it is a good change right now to see the situation as it is, ethereum fighting to take that spot while bitcoin not giving that spot, competition giving quality is the number one reason for free market.
