Plagiarism can be said to be the act of lifting someone's work(maybe written) without the person's consent or a due reference in order to take credits .

What is it called if  someone makes a post and another person alleges that he is not the author by a way of claiming that some other person known or maybe unknown is the true author?

This should be tantamount to or greater than plagiarism and as well punishable.
This scenario is only good in crime. Maybe after committing a crime, someone will purport that I am not the criminal. Then, I will be very happy.

As a newbie I started a topic and someone said he is suspecting another person behind the post...
There's only one account who has ever made this particular spelling error on the forum. This better not be who I think it is.  Cheesy

Few weeks down the lane, another person(a magician)made a post and the same person alleged that the magician is me (KingsDen). Tomorrow a soothsayer will join the forum, he will still be me.
I'm pretty sure this account is also you:

As a newbie, I read many posts that has quality. After reading the posts I'll feel like to merit the post, but as a newbie, I might not have a sendable merit, I will have no option than to slide on.
Assuming there is an alternative to merit just like "Facebook like" along side merit, it would favour me.
When will I be myself?
So, the reason for this post is that @nutildah malhandled me as a newbie. He caused a damage to my fragile heart. Infact, I became afraid of the forum. Even remembering it now, I am still traumatised. I was bullied. [Crying]  Cry Cry Cry

I therefore demand to be appeased or compensation for an emotional damage caused me with a cost of 50merits only Cool Cool Cool If otherwise, maybe he is right that I am not myself, I will compensate him with 5merits.
I think there is always a penalty for false accusations.
I hereby rest my case, if the judge deem it fit for further fines, who am I to say no.
End of Litigation!
Thanks all! Grin Grin Grin

As far as I can see, the question is not that of determining the authorship (which is the question you formulate) and determining whether this account or that account is the real author of a given text. That will confuse the readers.

The background noise really comes from the suspicion that at least two specific accounts are run by the same person, bearing both accounts a similar ring in the username (which is not a motive of suspicion per se), and perhaps someone saw some similarities in their posting and habits. I haven’t looked into it much myself, but one of them posts in decent Spanish (maybe not perfect though), which seems to set them afar.

Additionally, the spelling mistake made when referencing a given account is barely a repeated scenery (use the Search function to see coincident spelling), and I personally don’t think it implies much, nor do I think that there is any relation to V, and the above quoted phrase seems more of a humorous comment than full-fledged account link accusation.

All in all, making connections between accounts is often done, sometimes correctly, others resulting in false positives, and it’s not much of an issue other than reputational, lest the connection be solid and one or more of those accounts be ban evading or behaving unethically (in the line of meriting each other, fake conversations, participating in the same campaign simultaneously).

@KingsDen, I will advice you to improve you posting quality, you can even have more than one account and reveal it to all members, if the posting are useful you will not have any issue or problem. You can see what you experienced recently as an attack but it is not, if you have good post and you have good reputation, no one will bother about your account or accounts.

If you are not the same person as accused of, why are you making such chaos? It's possible that a spelling error from two person is coincidence but since you are not the same person, you would better ignore him.
You are demanding for compensation for emotional damage in terms of merits which I can only conclude as merit begging which is FYI frowned upon here.

Note: I guess you haven’t quoted the last part properly. Please fix it.

Come on man! What's the problem if someone says you have an alt account? Having an alt account isn't a crime and it's allowed in the forum. As long as you do not abuse the forum or trust system no one will tag or ban you from the forum. So why are you so serious? Let them suspect. I have heard too much blame that I have alt account here, even many users create thread against me about alt account. So what? Let them assume. Just don't abuse the forum either you have alt or not. That's it.

...if you have good post and you have good reputation, no one will bother about your account or accounts.

Is reputation imported from home to this forum? I think No. Your reputation in this forum should be a product of your hard work, sincerity, trustworthiness and maybe ability to deliver services seamlessly. Someone will need to have a safe landing, then pass the test of time before the test of trust.

As for good posts. It is what someone has he will give out. As I grow in the forum, I'll grow in knowledge and then the quality of my post will improve. This is what I believe!

Check the accounts very well their is no similarity between both accounts and they are managed by different people, even from different country, through my observation, so in aspect of improvement, you are right but this KingsDen is trying for making numerous posts, its few of newbies that will be so fast like this two accounts...magiciankings.

Great! Thanks for the exposition. I have got this advice from a few established members of this forum. It's high time I worked with it. I appreciate from this end.

Ohhh, who could possibly be behind the sockpuppet that is @KingsDen then? This is the first I have heard of the term fake newbies in this forum.
