I just pulled the trigger on an S19. I was planning to plug it in instead of my dryer on the 220 outlet. I notice it has two power inputs. How are people powering these in the US?

but that above only works with correct dryer plug

It's one of these. 4 prong, standard dryer outlet. Home built in 2005.

You answered 99% of my question already, I plug into one outlet and then "Y" it to two inputs to miner.

I don't think too many people are using these in the US in their residences.  The ones that do I would assume have a custom power setup they've installed specifically for mining.  Let us know how it goes if you do choose to follow philipma1957's advice and purchase those 3 items to make your dryer plug work for your S19.

Thanks philipma1957 for the advice on parts.  Have you tried to do such a thing with your home's dryer connection?

No as I have gas dryer and stove.

I did put in three 30 amp  240 volt circuits.

As in the state of NJ a home owner is allowed to wire the hime they live in.

I used older L6-30 receptacle it is cheaper to run.

I have two 120 volt leads and a ground from the street transfomer.

So wiring three wire 240 inside the house is cheap and easy.

Altough My whole  house is 150 amp box. so using 72 amps to mine very rarely happens in the summer as the ac uses  a 50 amp circuit.

Having gas for cooking and drying clothes along with hotwater lightens the load on the main circuit.

My winter mining grows quite a bit I burn close to 60amps on the three circuits if it is cold.

I did end up going with a similar setup. I used a different adapter from the wall to the three prong, but other than that, exactly as recommended. Ran it for hundreds of hours in the summer heat so far, no problems.

Currently trying to figure out how to make the d*mn thing quieter as my wife comes home and unplugs it every day.  Angry

For those with wanting to repurpose on hand wires & PDU's from older gen hardware (assuming everything is the correct amp rating, etc) isn't it possible to run 2 separate power cords to the same bank on PDU? Basically have the PDU bank switched off, plug in both power cables, then switch on or is there some other potential risk involved using this approach?

For noise treatment, what was done in this guide seems to be the most scientific and thorough method I've seen so far:
https://www.econoalchemist.com/post/home-mining-for-non-kyc-bitcoin

He measured the noise profile, filtered out the harmonics, used multiple layers of materials for the walls and avoided any parallel walls.
It reduced the noise by 10dB, which to humans sounds like half as loud due to log scale.
The miner still needs to be in a separate room from anything else (don't put it into you wife's office even with such an over-engineered box Tongue).
