I wouldn't have thought this could be possible in this part of Germany. The towns along the river valleys seem to have been there for centuries and have a good handle on how to deal with all that water. But apparently not.

A lot of natural disasters that were not normal a few decades ago are now becoming more frequent. I guess it has to do with climate change. Nothing seems to be the same again

Back in 2018 US Special Forces began training on how to rescue children and destroy tunnels in an extensive series of Deep Underground Military Bases (DUMBs) that circled the globe. I don't know why we don't realize is that we are going towards the end of the world. A lot of natural disasters, self made biologicals weapons (Virus) and nuclear weapons will be the major cause of the destruction of the mankind.

Who are you talking to? The OP, or one of the commenters?

Isn't the idea of protecting the environment really for human protection? The plants and animals might have artificial emotion in some ways, but they barely reason if they do it at all. They live by complex instinct, which is really a form of higher AI.

The systems of the world operations are collapsing at every level. If I drown in a flood, it doesn't hurt you at all, except if you have pity on me. And the same for me with you. Because we are similar kinds of beings, we have empathy and sympathy for each other.

The point is to look toward your end and prepare for it in the only way that you can.

Forget the earth's environment. The earth can take care of itself. Sounds like you have been listening to the Green BS... which might be true-ish in certain local areas, but not the whole earth.
