Few Chinese GPU brands are ok👌

Anyone using Chinese brand GPU for mining? I did and the best one among the others is maxsun, I did took the risk hoping it will be as good as other brands like Asus and zotac and I was right, I got a rtx2060 which is Maxsun brand and it never disappoints, I did all benchmark and it's same with my zotac 2060, don't be afraid to buy maxsun GPUs



Now I've got my eye on two brands from China Maxsun and Colorful

I always prefer the normal gigabyte, MSI and sapphire but one day I was given a free colorful igame GPU at first I thought it was fake but after playing around with the GPU I realized it's same with MSI and others, works very well and well cooled too

Yeah especially avoid ZOTAC MINI that card is very bad.dont buy even it is cheap.And inno 3D is worse card in the world. I like in Nvidia palit jetstream series and in AMD my choice is SAPPHIRE.

I've had a few Colorful 1080Ti's and they were generally decent cards. And while I have no idea why would anyone call Zotac a Chinese brand it's actually one of my favorites. Their 1080Ti Amp Extremes were beasts, I still have a couple of them running since 2017.

Some of the Chinese brands are still as good as larger brands like MSI or ASUS however the issue for me is that its not really worth the savings to get a GPU where you got basically no warranty and going to be a tough sell if you try and sell it second hand.

The price difference is marginal and what if you run into an issue? What will you do? Ship it to China for RMA? Would be very time consuming and expensive just for an RMA fix. Most larger brands you just ship it somewhere nationally.

Second is that nobody will want to buy an unknown brand off you on Craiglist. They will think its a fake GPU and it'll kill resell value.

colorful is also quite good in south east asia, at least in my country. while their after sales are not as good as those big brands, it's good enough. the issue for most of their cards are the core and vrm temp. if there are other options, better buy other cards.

Both very good points.  Most are the larger names are the same warranty between 3 to 5 years. Ship it back to an in country location or at worst a neighboring country and so long as there is not damage a new card is on it's way to you quickly. If you have to ship it 1/2 way around the world and then wait a month before they ship it back any money saved by buying the lower priced card is now lost mining revenue.

I have a bunch of gpu´s with single fan and i have no problems. 1 fan is enough to cool a gpu for mining.

Not every GPUs with single fan are bad, I've used my hold gtx560 and gtx970 since 2012 and they are still working with single fan on them lol, it's not always about how many fan a GPU has, some GPUs are just badly build sometimes

Colorful lately has been doing extremely well both in improvements in technology and in their selling of GPU-s.I have had the pleasure to install a RTX 3090 Kudan in a mining rig for a friend and I can tell you is one of the cards that runs really cool,the design and fans are perfect,in fact Kudan means Spirit and is their high end premium GPU kinda like FTW3 of EVGA.I am thinking of buying a RTX 3060 Ti for my personal PC to mine RVN if I can find one at a good price.For me this is the best Chinese brand,Gigabyte,Asus,MSI are both from Taiwan and not China.

I don't think there is a huge difference in product quality. Each country has its own popular brands of video cards, but the main thing is the price and guarantee.
Asus, gigabyte and other well-known brands are also made in China.
In my country, it is cheaper to buy a video card from a local seller than to buy it in China and pay an additional tax of 15% on the cost

There's no problem on that gpu, only thing that I want to give recommendations for this type of hardware; always use a true rated powe supply to avoid shortage of power which eventually shuts down your system. This might cause damage for your mining equipment, so better check all over specs of all your parts being used.

Yeah and if I recall the Nano/Fury were the most problematic GPUs to come out of AMD. Pretty sure it wasn't due to the single fan but many gamers and miners had to RMA a bunch of these GPUs for some reason.

I remember they were great in late 2015/early 2016 because they were the most efficient at mining ETH. However when Summer came along and people found out about the memory strap hack for the RX 470/480 series GPUs, most switched to Polaris since they were much cheaper and less problematic.

Now a days... you hardly hear of a miner using a Nano or Fury GPU.
