we can't deny the fact but everytime we need to gamble orwe may just try we feel some excitement on ourselves that we are in luck and that's natural.

These are challenges of the self and it depends on every individuals but most tend to not have self control over things especially if emotions are on the line. Either you are betting jokingly like you said or not, the probabilities of you winning is still the same. Gambling is just about luck. You want to win?? You must be lucky. Emotions??
