I personally don't like any flyers and I almost never read them if I found them in my mail box or if someone gives me one on the street than I throw it back in the trash as soon as I found one.
Reason for doing this is that most of those flyer offers are junk, so I am not sure this will work for bitcoin and maybe better way would be using of Bitcoin stickers.
On the positive note, spreading the word about Bitcoin is never a bad thing.

It’s not pushing people, no one is forcing anyone to buy Bitcoin. Plus anyone is free to do what they want. They can make paper airplanes out of the flyers, it would be OK.

I believe the Chinese Bitcoin community should do the same project to troll the government.

Actually he may not be that far from truth. I mean that there may be certain mindset for those actually reading and paying attention to flyers. (And the sects are full of people with that kind of mindset). Of course, the analogy stops here.

Less info, maybe a catchy short link to a web page for those interested, could have had more effect. Of course, I can't tell for sure. However, it's in order to say a big "thank you for the effort" for those involved. And best of luck too. I don't know how risky/(il)legal is such an action too.

I don't think that many people will be interested in bitcoin in this way, they will rather throw this booklet in the trash.

For some countries, fliers such as this one will be thrown into the garbage 5 minutes after they received them. There are also some countries who have different customs where they will become curious about it. People should know the difference of traditions in every country because some of them when given these kinds of papers especially on the Bus or Train, more likely they will read it to kill some time and that's what the person who give those papers think. No matter how low the chance that the people read it, he is still confident about the result he gets from what he is doing.

All the text are already available in the post. The formatting is not that complicated to follow and you can always modify it if you want. You do not to be an expert in marketing to do that.

How do you plan to do this if you don't have enough knowledge to explain about bitcoin? What if the person you're handing the flyer ask you on the spot?

I guess one of the best ways to convince more people is to let them know that no single individual/country have power over Bitcoin. It works abit like a Living Being with trillions or thousands of cells/people contributing to keep it alive and functioning.
And you have to use it correctly to fully benefit from its unique features and security.

I'm happy if the goal is to introduce Bitcoin. Some people have differences regarding the choice of how to introduce something including bitcoin. If it's effective or not, we can't see it directly, because we're not distributing flyers. Indeed, of the many technologies, paper recognition looks annoying, but some people think it's different. If you look at the current conditions, of course, the internet is the most widely used media for promotion. But I know it costs a lot of money. Unlike paper, I think paper is less expensive.

Pretty good idea, the base of this idea is great to let the newbies learn and know about bitcoin and spread the word all over the world. This can help more people to know about bitcoin because I saw many governmental media saying negative stuff about bitcoin especially recently after what China did to traders and miners. I believe if more people from different nations join the circle we can have bitcoin more decentralized and there will be many benefits on it. But the problem is spreading one piece of paper can't really do the job, many people will just ignore it.

It would be interesting to see this. But I think the government will introduce some kind of punishment for such actions. But if the leaflets are about the digital yuan, CBDC, then this is a completely different matter. 

The Chinese government cannot punish the operators/people if they can’t see them do the operation in action. Hahaha. Plus, I believe a Bitcoin leaflet campaign made in China would be one of the best strategies to cause an effective psychological response from the government.

I believe it might be, in our current “everything digitized” era. It’s physically held, it’s more personal, and you said it’s cheaper. All good points. TV, and social media advertising have become an annoyance, especially in YouTube. Plus the Moscow Project has an “effect” that it’s trolling. It’s a feature, not a bug.

I think it is a good idea for the simple reason that at least some people who read the leaflet will become curious about Bitcoin and this can lead them into it.This can be quite beneficial to Russians as their local currency has often steep swings in value,usually more for going down and depreciation like the leaflet mentioned a bit in the beginning.However only 4000 leaflets are printed which is not a big amount and to be successful a project like this needs much more than that number but at least it is a good starting point to make people aware of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general.
