I'm trying to redeem a 9 year old Casascius bitcoin using Electrum 4.1.5 and the wallet menu only has sweep as an option. When I try to use p2pkh:PRIVATE KEY syntax, the sweep button does not enable to click sweep. Most documentation from previous versions of Electrum had an option to import private keys and later to sweep...
Is the p2pkh:PRIVATE Key entered in just string like - phpkh:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
OR
phpkh:
XXXXX
XXXXXX
XXXXXX
XXXXX
Newbie here, any help would be grateful
thanks
Suggestion: You can get more than the value of the Bitcoin and other fork coins inside it when you sell it on forum collectible section(
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=217.0). The premium of the coin will be waste once you peel it. Just use escrow for your transaction to make it safe for you. Just trying to save your casascius coin but if you are already decided to peel it, Follow the advice above my post. PM me if you are willing to sell the peeled coin.
