Because of work, I need to live in China for a period of time. I found that China is the most widely used country for mobile payment. All aspects of life are cashless. You can go out for a day without cash, you only need a mobile phone.

1. Transportation
Whether you take a bus, taxi, subway, plane, or train, you can buy an e-ticket, just buy it on your mobile phone, and then swipe the QR code to get on the bus.


2. Shopping
Hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, even small street food shops, can pay electronically, and complete the transaction in a few seconds.

3. Transfer
If I need to transfer money to a friend, I just need to pay him directly on the chat software, no matter which bank it is, it will arrive in a few seconds, and there will be no fee.

I heard from a friend that a bar accepts BTC, LTC, and ETH payments. I really hope that in a few years, cash payments can increase Bitcoin payments.

I think not just China has mobile payment because in a big country or develops country, their private company is trying to introduce mobile payment to pay the services. The bank also uses mobile services for their customers so they do not have to go to the bank if they only want to send, receive, or make a payment on the store. But not many countries use crypto for payment because that will be related to government regulations and how big people are interested in using crypto.

Almost every country has such convenience in the last 3 years ir atleast after 2020 to avoid physical contact so they can ensure they are free from covid.

Its good to know that you are enjoying the cashless economy but do they really have any benefits?

The evil side of digital fiat economy is the inflation rate, governments don't even have to print notes, they can simply click a button to create billions.

Wechat Pay and Alipay are the popular payment processors there.

Both are Chinese companies and most of their citizens are aware of these two and if you don't have cash, they're willing to accept any from those payments.

At the very least, mobile payments have created conditions for digital currency.
Although digital currency is not equivalent to encrypted currency, the popularization of encrypted currency provides an environment and awareness.
