It went down though, but the price is still attractive and it is still a bargain. For newbies or just starting their bitcoin journey, one lesson I learned when I was a beginner is that you really don't need to buy one full BTC right now.

You can just do DCA or just buy what you can afford and accumulate overtime. It might take some time, but believed me, the journey of it is very satisfying in the end specially if you have reach that 1 BTC *which is the goal for everyone*.

I don't know why you still think BTC is extremely cheap? The average investor certainly doesn't think so, especially since for most almost $40k is very big money - despite the fact that anyone can buy BTC for a few tens of dollars, but no one likes too much zero behind the decimal point. You need to keep in mind that there are people who trade on a daily basis as well as those who sell their BTC to provide some basic living needs - for some the long-term holding option is simply not an option.

This is the only thing I don't understand right now. It is extremely cheap. The potential is huge, El Salvador goes all in BTC and people still don't have the eyes to see it. for future potential this price is still very cheap but when compared to the previous week this price is certainly better, here I think you are very suitable for small traders to do scalping but for long time holders of course this is not too influential because I believe they are would not be too tempted by a temporary increase like this.
and in this thread I think you are speculating too much, that's fine if it's hopeful but at least you have to create a solid alibi so you can defend your argument. although the opportunity is very large for btc to last for the next few years, but you also have to be more realistic to address the possibility that the opposite will happen.

Just like there's a potential for upside, there's also a potential for downside. There's no rule that says that Bitcoin can't return to previous levels, especially not after having a bull run. And it can be very profitable to sell while the price is high and buy back deep in the bear market.

A lot of people in Bitcoin community have this perception of selling as something you can only do once, but you can always buy again, hopefully at lower price.

If this is a restart of a bull run, then hondling is indeed the winning strategy, but if this is a bull trap, then selling now is the last chance to take profits.

People shouldn't get panicked with market corrections, because they are made on purpose by whales to demotivate regular investors in order to make them lose interest and will for bitcoin investment, so these whales can accumulate more coins in their wallets for cheaper prices.

W cant blame them as they have no concrete idea about what this market is and how much they ar losing from regretting to invest in this market so maybe in some time after another ATH been reached .

Well, if you look at the long term future, the difference between $10000 and $50000 is not so important. Future predictions with this market make me very confident in what I am expecting, looking at them like OP said, BTC is indeed still very cheap.

All what has been said is true, the 21 million coins make it easy for price to keep going up so as long as we keep the demand high to unleash bitcoins true potential.

But the future is uncertain as crypto users are the people that give it this power,  sometimes it scares me thinking about what would happen if every one choose to move money out of bitcoin and pump Ethereum for example as I see it not to be impossible,
would btc still hold any value.
