to avoid the risk of investing in several Altcoins is a very good thing, but to choose only one Altcoin and be able to survive for a long time I think is much more profitable.
among the many best altcoins i really believe in BNB i think the coin has a good future with the increasing number of current users, and since the last few years the price has been moving very positively from time to time although there has been no significant price movement but in my opinion it is very profitable.

if i were you then i would try to hodl bitcoin that i have but if the scenario was different, i would buy avax, bsc or solana because all three have big enough potential to continue to be adopted by developers out there.  don't invest in single defi tokens or meme tokens because the future is uncertain.

Investing in popular altcoins are a wise decision (atleast for me) because we have an assurance that this coin is not going to be a shitcoin if you hold it for long period. Thus its advisable specially for newbies to choose a well-established coin because their worth is already proven. But it doesnt mean new coins popping are bad and has no potential, it depends and needed an extensive research because we'll never know it might be another shitcoin created by a greedy dev.

Sometimes it's good to take risks. 0.2 bitcoin is a nice amount, making around $8000. Investing that much in a shitcoin would of course be very risky. But if you bought a coin like Shiba, you can be very happy. Investing in memecoins like this early can save you a lot of money

Choosing an altcoin to invest in just by its position in coinmarketcap is completely wrong. For example lets take dogecoin. Everyone knows it, it has a large community. Just half a year ago, dogecoin was among top10. Now its price is 5 times lower than it was and it is on 12 place. I remember Waves was if not among top10, but in top20 definitely. Now it is about to be kicked out of first 100.

Dont forget pumps, they easily change altcoin positions in top. You won't even be able to blink an eye when such tactics will start to bring losses.

That is what the point is. I agree with you. Which alt coin would I invest in if I had to choose only one for the next few years? I'd invest in the project called URUS. Looking forward to huge market caps on URUS in a few years. It's not a dream, but inevitable that URUS market cap will be huge. Altcoins such as USUS will eventually become popular and take top positions.

What is URUS? You havent named a single reason why its "market cap will be huge" and why it "would take top positions and be popular". Are you talking about Aurox (https://getaurox.com)? One alt coin is not best choice. You should diversify your 0.2 btc.
Sometimes one good coin hacked or produce any other issues and price down hard.
Choose top 20 coin and don't forget to add Luna at top
