Now half of my electricity is from solar panels in which saves me enough bucks to put in investing in crypto, you are correct that alternative is the best thing that we must find and not to consume every drops from electric plants.

Lol The idea of PoW was reasonable when the desire to put a greater push on advancing hardware utilizing btc as a resource for its funding. As crypto evolves the need for hardware advancements will slow and software is the next wave. Big energy companies can't profit as much on renewables so that will be left to the normal capitalist structure of things.

Sorry for the confusion, I messed up the things and I thought you are saying that value of bitcoin is nothing when the asteroid mining starts to work but now only realize what you are trying to say.

But wait why we need to compared it with asteroid mining when government claims that bitcoin is taking enough electric power which can even provide the electricity for a small country.
