I wish I was paid in Bitcoin I would be willing to take a pay cut to be paid in Bitcoin not much but enough that it would still benefit me because I would not need to pay fees when buying Bitcoin from a exchange.

Being paid in Bitcoin have both pros and cons od you will be better think of it for we all know that its value is really volatile so you maybe take it into advantage or the other way around. While on the other hand, being paid in terms of fiat which is a more stabilize value can also have both pros and cons in a sense that its value is stable that is cannot progress that far making you have greater value in your hand for it is what it is upon given into you unlike having Bitcoin that have greater possibility of increasing during the green market. Both are just fine as long as it is the free will of the employee to choose into what currency does he wanted to take his salary with.

Too bad in my country bitcoin only can be used as an assets and not for payment. Maybe if can be payment, there are a lot of companies which made by some cryptocoiners can pay they employee with crypto. If me i really support if can be paid in crypto especially bitcoin, means people who know and who don't know if there are general companies can adopt it. About sell or not it is all depends on each employees.

Many countries may not legalize the regulation of paying salary with bitcoin due to restrictions on using crypto only as an investment, even if you don't receive salary in bitcoin but if your intention is to invest part of your salary in bitcoin then you will definitely buy bitcoin every month.

Unless its a secondary job that does not ensure i eat or live for the night than i don't want to be paid in bitcoin, the reason for that is because in the real world you still can't buy the necessary needs or the day to day transactions with bitcoin, sure there are ways to go around this but what happens when you want to go and buy something for 10 dollars and the transaction fee turns out to be 4 dollars or it takes hours for it to be confirmed, bitcoin should be considered as an investment for the time being and not something that you have all your worth in it at least not at the current time, but i hope that someday we will be able to use it in our daily lives without worrying about transaction fee or time.

Undoubtedly, cryptocurrency transactions are much easier and safer than Fiat.But in countries where cryptocurrency is not approved at all, Fiat is far more important than cryptocurrency.There is no cryptocurrency approval in my country so Fiat is much better than cryptocurrency here.However, in the near future, cryptocurrency will be approved in our country.

although I am a crypto fan, I prefer to earn in fiat. because I only allocate 10% of my salary for btc investment, the rest I use to meet daily needs. it's easier because electricity, gas, water bills, all using fiat, and e-money being the best choice for online payments.

It is true that there are some companies that give their employees the choice of whether they want to be paid their salaries with fiat or crypto.
Not even only company employees are starting to get paid with crypto, however there are some sports athletes who are starting to accept

For those who have transacted fiat and bitcoin, of course they feel very different, bitcoin is better in many ways, speed, no errors, and of course very safe even though sending or receiving with large amounts, hopefully Amazon will be a pioneer of e-commerce transaction systems so that it makes bitcoin is increasingly being used.

if you are only relying  on your monthly wages then yeah volatility will be your issue but if having another income like business or second job, maybe volatility will be your partner in which you will pray about the constant price drops.

I currently earning a salary from my clients which chooses to pay me with cryptocurrency though I prefer to get a salary in a fiat basis but it's what my client prefer and all I can do is to teach myself how to transact it into fiat. SO far base on my experience this is better though I am not that good enough to handle the volatility of the cryptocurrency but at least I can invest some portion of my salary in that token which in some cases could give a profit and some are not and it's totally fine. Somehow, it is good to have an option which you would like to prefer to receive your salary but either getting fiat or cryptocurrency it is totally fine.

Exactly. In fact, when I have seen on the rare chance working freelance in 2018 for crypto companies, you even get the complaint more from the employees who get paid in crypto. Companies just buy the crypto at a fixed price so it's not so important for them, but by the time they send it to you, and you pay the fee to send it to an exchange, the volatility might mean you can lose 10% easily on a single day if it's highly volatile.

Exactly, you don't want that to happen for all the work that you did. Also, it's not really suitable to use it that way because not a lot of wet and dry markets wants to get paid in crypto for their products, for now with the volatility and low adoption in local level, I think fiat is still the best choice there is.

Exacatly, it is much better to get paid in Bitcoin which is deflationary currency rather than Fiat that is is inflationary and will lose its value as time goes by and you won't be able to buy as much goods in the future as much as you can buy today with the same amount of Fiat currency but with Bitcoin may be much more. Many countiries have printed huge amount of fiat currencies during the past one year whcih increases money supply and causes inflation so stick to Bitcoin .
