Well there are many coins trying to be Bitcoin, but Bitcoin already solved what others are even trying.
It is like Bitcoin is already about to go home, while they are still on the way on their destination.

It's like a lot of coins have been tried to beat bitcoin but none of them succeeded. Simply, because bitcoin is the number one and the most trusted digital currency in the market. No wonder that bitcoin has the most expensive value that everyone who gets to know bitcoin are definitely craving to have it even a single one.

And having bitcoin as a store of value also made it worth the keep. Not just in trading bitcoin you can make huge profits, but even by simply hodling bitcoin, the result is still worth the risk.

There have been many projects created to beat Bitcoin and there are also some old coins that are predicted to replace Bitcoin. But all of them ended up
failing, until now Bitcoin is still the best and gets the most trust from investors. Even some institutions entrust their money to invest in Bitcoin in
the long term, all that makes Bitcoin very high value. It's not surprising that Bitcoin always dominates the market, so this confirms that Bitcoin is

There are indeed some cryptocurrencies like Monero that may be considered superior to Bitcoin in terms of fungibility (or technology). The general problem is that there'll never be an altcoin with better wealth distribution than Bitcoin. It's #1 in the market cap, because it's been seen as the most significant in that part.

Usually, if a new altcoin is been launched, it'll quickly gain whales. That's why the term “shitcoin” circulates the internet and why there's so much value given into Bitcoin. Because, there'll never be a cryptocurrency with the same characteristics.
