Well there is no doubt ETH2 is going to be an easy investment for the ones who have money to put on it. Institutions are said to be buying I heard it from Raoul Pal who vlogs about his cryptocurrency investment. He had been saying that ETH is the future actually. Although there may be a lot of us that could argue about it but the NFT, Defi smartcontracts could really make things big for ETH.

I think you are wrong, ethereum adoption is not higher than bitcoin, and is the news a future tense or it had already happen, ethereum may break again it all time high, I think it's one of the good representative of alt-coins, but now the adoption is under that of Bitcoin and if the price of ethereum keep rising, investors that can't afford it may look to other alt-coins within their reach, this plaque is also affecting Bitcoin.

Could be a strategy. Purchase ETH before the fork, wait for the price to pump and just drop out. It doesn't mean ETH is getting more adopted imo. The hype is usually very high before big changes, remember SegWit.. I might be wrong of course, but I don't think there's much more than a simple money move.

Ethereum price is rising in my opinion due to the upcoming London hard fork that is expected on August 4. I also believe after the implementation of London Hard fork price may move more aggressively but not be guaranteed. Where did you read that news? usually, there really are whales, unknown people, and institutions that are buying not just with millions but with billions as much as they can. Yeah, the change of PoW to PoS is going to make it profitable for them and that's why they're preparing before it happens. to be honest i don't see any good news for eth ever since before the day that bitcoin made a sudden rise in the market wherein even now , so it will be better if you share the link here so that we are aware as well if that news is fake or not. By the way all good news about cryptocurrency there's always an impact to the specific coin in the market especially when it comes ethereum and bitcoin but depends what kind of news it is. The Ethereum blockchain has always been the number one platform in terms of adoption and tokens that are created on it, i guess that was never in doubt. Only during the last bullrun some flaws of the Ethereum blockcahin became apparent when the gas prices were extremely high for a long time and uniswap was almost unusable because of that. If you have to pay 150$ of transaction fees for a swap on uniswap that only has a value of 100$ then you know that something is really off here. During that time the binance smart chain became pretty popular among new projects for obvious reasons as the fees there were extremely low. With the PoS transition Ethereum should also solve the problem with the high fees and then it is a no brainer for me that ETH will stay the number 1 network in terms of adoption.
