Gambling is looked at as the business of men just like football but these none of these are exclusive to the men folks anymore even though it still carry the face of men becyof how society relate with it. Things have started changing with the known saying that "what a man can do , women can also get it done". I'm also yet to see the men area of live that women have not dived into.

On gambling, I see the increasing speed of women also in this area especially with the opportunity of growing online casinos and poker games that they can play from home alone or with their husbands. But for physical gambling that they need to visit a gambling store, maybe they still a little withdrawn not as online either because they are shy or just not convenient for them .

What could make a woman take to gambling ? Can it be for fun or for the need to make profit for the family?

However, I have below women that have distinguished themselves in the gambling games.

Are you sure about it? Gambling doesn't come with a tagline that it's an all male club. Women are welcomed is gambling as much as men are welcomed. 

What could make a woman take to gambling ? Can it be for fun or for the need to make profit for the family?

Unless someone is a professional gambler (gamble for living) I don't think making money should be a goal ever. It's purely for fun and relaxation. Yes, addicted gamblers are there who tries to make a fortune through gambling, but that should be seen as exception.

So the pictures you have posted, they are possibly professional gamblers who makes a living through it. But ideally neither Man nor Women should gamble to run their families.

You just have to go to a local landbase casino and see how many women are into gambling. Also, it's more of a partner thingy, if the husband is onto gambling, 90% of it their wife or girlfriend are also into gambling. So yeah, there are no boundaries, some can become professional poker players and can even compete with me. And so with any other sports as well, women/ladies also succeed. So gambling is not a all male dominated industry.

but i totally agreed on how female gamblers increase nowadays , back in the years i rarely seen woman playing in casinos with us but now? sometimes the ratio even get higher from 3 men to 2 woman  and this is rarely happen in the past.

It's the same with porn. When it was necessary to go to a physical place to buy/rent porn, practically no woman watched porn and if she did it was usually in a couple. As soon as they were able to play/view porn pseudo-anonymously the number of women increased. In any case, I think that in percentage terms women will always be less than men. Gambling has more to do with risk and testosterone. And in my opinion, poker does not enter here, because the players take calculated risks combined with guessing, and when they play live, they also read tells from other players.

Gambling and everything in this world doesn't have any gender discrimination, any gender should be treated equally. The reason why those women are playing gambling is that they have the talent to make profits in gambling, cause why not play if you have the skills to make money in gambling, right?.

Or maybe they are just bored with the wealth they have therefore they try to play gambling to have a pastime and entertainment. In short, we don't personally know their reasons but playing gambling no matter what your gender is, is completely legal and there's nothing wrong with it.

lol depends on what kind of gambling are we talking , in my country there is a gambling game that mostly woman plays and that is what we called Local Bingo in which 90-95% of players are woman mostly mothers that has nothing to kill their time but this kind of gambling .

There are many mothers who plays different types of card games and mahjong when they're done with their household chores. You may call a past time but it's still gambling when they bet on it.

Men or Women, the reason will be the same, it can be because to get money or just for fun, women can still be involved in gambling because there is no prohibition against it. At my place before the pandemic there was even a special group of women who gathered to play card gambling and do it almost every day.

Gender does not matter in gambling; it is a recreational activity that anyone can participate in without making gender a factor in the game. Women's gambling is very common in my country; you can see them playing bingo or tongits on any street.

While growing up we had shared responsibility for both genders and there were things we saw as absurd when a lady engages in them. But the world at large has changed. Education and civilization has removed lots of gender limitations creating rook for both genders to share equal leverage. I remember back in 2018, I used to accompany my brother to casinos where I would be the one to stop him from his gambling sprees. Based on my observation, there are actually lots of women who gamble on casinos. Usually, these women are accompanied by some rich Chinese guy who let those woman play on their behalf.

In addition, there were also some arcade games here in the Philippines where some people bet their money (Tom's world- racing game). Mostly, women participate and spend most of their time betting inside the arcade.

The bottomline is- gender is irrelevant as to gambling. Anyone can bet either for entertainment or for profit. It just depends upon the individuals need at the time being.

Anyone can gamble regardless of gender, whether female or male because basically there are no official rules that state that gambling is only for men. Maybe in some casinos there are such rules which are specially made at the discretion of the casino owner.

Neighborhood often play some game which they called Bingo and you don't often see men playing with them, they are on their own. They always like that almost every day because no one tells them to stop since their husband is not home probably at work. They are free doing it but for a woman who does that every day, it's not praise-worthy you know. Of course, they are free to do what they want but not to the extent they forgot their responsibility as a mother who will be the first teacher of her children.
