there are a few things that I have to straighten out here, the first is true that investing here is indeed a very high risk, not only in bitcoin, in fact, the name of investment, of course, there is a risk that must be accepted. and for such a high price? I think for now it's a bit late to adopt bitcoin compared to a few weeks ago but for the current price it's actually not too high even much lower when compared to the previous ath and of course this is very profitable if you invest here because bitcoin is a future project which is very good.
and regarding speculations that you've read or heard from other people, I suggest don't get your hopes up too high with it and don't trust it too much because here it's volatile so it's very difficult to predict and control.
at least your mindset must be changed if you want to invest here because only if you look at what you say you just want to invest and get instant profits and this I don't think is good. try to research first in doing something and don't be too ambitious and greedy because other people's talk because it's not good

It’s never too late to invest in Bitcoin, but of course, there are better and worse times when you can do it. By this I mean not only that it was better to invest in Bitcoin 2 or 5 years ago because then it was significantly cheaper than today, but also that only a few days ago its price was below $30 000, while today it is around $40 000. You may be correct about the price getting to $100k but the time may also be too close. You have not given any reason for the close time and that may be too risk for you to believe in that, investing with such hope for the ending of 2021 may be a blind investment.

The longtime for bitcoin to get to $100k is very possible, you may focus on longtime, say for example next year . A reason that bitcoin can get to that is with the current adoption of institution talking about incorporating bitcoin as payment system and more can get involved with it before next year ending. For now it is still a good buying investment opportunity but don't hope on $100k during the end of this year. We have few months to go, the time is short.

No problem mate. It's never too late to invest. The most important thing is that you understand the good and bad risks. And more importantly, the funds you invest are cold money, so you are not in too much of a hurry and don't panic too much if the price of bitcoin drops further. Wait and never sell cheap coins that you want to invest now. We never know when we are lucky. However , there is always hope , that bitcoin will be able to reach the point you want it to .

The current price of bitcoin is $39K , if you want to hold for long term and wait until it reach $100k, still it's good to buy. In last few weeks, bitcoin down to $29K, if you bought your bitcoin that time, much better.

@Nhor1011 is right, if you are aiming for the long-term, then 39k is still a good time to invest remember that bitcoin is an appreciating asset meaning that even if you are to buy at the highest price this year, if you wait long enough, you will be able to get a profit out of your investment. Remember that it's better to get in right now than wait for it to prove itself that it will go back up.

There are chains of opportunities in Bitcoin. Buying and holding isn't just the only opportunity available in bitcoin investment. You can still go into arbitrary trading or build your own exchange. Limiting your self to just investing alone will keep you constantly worried about the current price

There are many users speculating that BTC will go up to $300,000 this year alone, it could be too much of a price goal actually but we've also not expect the price of BTC to reach this high. $ome extremely speculatd to be $1M too.

If you believe them, its enough for you to buy and hold even with just 0.05BTC. Its still going to make you big profit whenever it comes true.

I applaud your courage to keep investing in bitcoin, I think the current bitcoin price is not too expensive considering the bitcoin price that has penetrated its highest price of $65K some time ago and is currently holding bitcoin for the next few years is the right thing, because honestly I've just bought about 0.5 bitcoin when it was at the $29K level and I intend to keep it until halvingday happens later. Investing in bitcoin requires patience and we can't make quick profits in my opinion, so after buying bitcoins it's better to forget about it and go back to opening the wallet when the price is really high  .

Let me ask you this first, what happens if it doesn't reach more than 100k USD?  Will you sell your bitcoins to get back and break even on your initial capital? If you have a clear answer to the first question then in my opinion you are already ready to buy those bitcoins and hodl. Although you still have to remember that only risk what you can afford to lose.

If you believe that the end of the year will reach $100 that's okay, and even if your predictions are wrong and don't match your expectations, you can hold it until the bitcoin price reaches the desired target.
and most importantly you buy when the bitcoin price is still cheap and sell when the price rises above the initial you bought and is in a favorable condition, but it would be nice if you made a long-term investment without a time limit it would be much more profitable and without a target set according to what was said many people.
bitcoin is not easy to predict but if you are sure just do it and even if it doesn't match your expectations you can hold it because the expectations we want sometimes happen unexpectedly and only time can answer and be patient.

Speculation is a very natural thing when you are here because it is only a prediction that will happen but of course that speculation must be accompanied by research and observations made so that the speculation that is said can be properly accounted for.

I like your courage towards investing in Bitcoin no matter what is the current price and I hope it will the same when you're holding your crypto asset.
BUT (there's a big but) the question is, the fund that you invested is the amount that you can afford and willing to wait without a certain time frame?  Because Bitcoin didn't have a promise to us regarding the profit since the price is unpredictable, there's no way to have an accurate result of guessing, it could be in the downtrend or bullish trend in the date that you expected to pump.

If you have a plan to hold for the long run is quite better, there could be multiple times of profit probably after 4-5 years when there's another Bitcoin halving come that commonly Bitcoin price will go up.  However, regarding the last question, you can buy and hold and it depends on you which you prefer.

I wouldn't expect a significant bitcoin price hike until past the next rewards halving in 2024.

Approximately every 4 years bitcoin sees a massive bull market trailing its reward halving event. Followed by a bust cycle. This has been the basic trend thus far. Its not something that is necessarily etched in stone but it has been the blueprint thus far.

The sad truth is, some NFT markets have gained significantly more percentage points in value than bitcoin have. There are a few NFT markets where I've seen between 200% and 400% average increase in price across the board over the last 3 months or so. There is still a lot of money being made in crypto. But I don't think anyone expects a big rise in coins, unless something serious happens relating to inflation or fiat markets.

Actually there are many reasons why some people speculate about this but you have to make the conclusion that bitcoin will continue to be a good growth in the future and that strongly believes in over time.

I think it's not about expensive purchases, every time you place a buy, there must be a risk that occurs between going down and up, just hold on to one and don't be influenced by the market when it falters and it can make you weak to sell, so the advice to reach a high target is something very different.

Look at the charts first and see how it has been since the beginning. You will see that in the long term, you are still making profit. If you hoping to make quick short term profit, then its going to be risky for you. If you wish to hold a year or two, then the risk is little less over here. Just remember, if you can afford to lose, then don't wait. Just invest. One thing though, if you are going to invest because you think the price is going to reach $100k by the end of the month, then don't.

That’s good to know that you are willing to take the risk and play long despite that you enter on a higher price, you can still make profit out of that by just holding. Though there’s a higher chance to lose as well but don’t panic, just wait for the next bull run and you’ll be good.

Bitcoin is still at the stage you can buy for longtime. It is just starting to increase last week after Amazon made a statement they later went back but the fact is, it is just starting to increase and we can see huge pump anytime soon when the last quarter approach. There are rush and activities going around that time with bitcoin because of festivity of end of year.
