Sharing or giving what we have to others should be done out of love and according to our ability. We aren't forced to do such a thing. We might think that other people are more fortunate than us but those who are willing to share what they have are more blessed. Being grateful is the key to a contented and happy life while chasing and being envious of others' achievements will only lead to bitter living.

No matter how bad the crypto storm that we are weathering right now, there’s always something to be grateful for even just a little. Like in my case where I got hacked $12k last April of this year, I am just grateful that I am in a better position than I was before where I can still make good money from my gigs.

When I got liquidated or most of my investments got burned or rug pulled, I am just grateful for the learning experience and still have funds and jobs for my needs, bills, etc.

Most especially of all in all circumstances, I’m just being grateful to be alive, healthy and well.

Because what is the meaning of wealth if we are in an unhealthy state. really a lot of wealth can not replace a health that we have. so we should be grateful for the health we have.

That is one of the best thing I have read - the root cause of the evil is not money but greed.
People are greedy - for money and for the material - people would always run away from all those greedy ugly people. At the end we all are going to die - leaving all the material in this world

a person has big ambitions to become rich because of greed, he/she does everything possible to fulfill his/her greedy desire, he/she is not grateful enough for whatever he/she has got today, all the material he/she gets will only be left when he/she dies and it's really in vain.

I'm grateful for the day, because I've food, shelter and clothing which is the basic needs for a human being. At times mind gets greedy when we need money to fulfill needs out of food, shelter and clothing. According to me if a person doens't have debts, then he/she can lead a peaceful life. I just opened Facebook and read a short, but meaningful post. in the post it says....

A mountain of gold would not be enough for a greedy person.
But, a plate of food is enough for a grateful person

I ponder when I do daily trading in the crypto market, I often get profit even though it is not too much but I am always annoyed and irritated if the profit I get is not on target. I forgot to be grateful and hopefully, I can be a grateful person even though I get a little profit from crypto trading.

You have to appreciate that it is not until you have experienced both sides of the spectrum that you get another level of understanding of this. For when you are getting richer and richer, it has a snowball type effect where you can start to spend more without thinking - you might be earning a million dollars but if you're spending $999k yearly on your lifestyle then you are not really making the most of it - because all that illusionary wealth can often disappear right before your eyes. Whereas if you are earning a little amount, you really think carefully where you spend it and enjoy every little treat that you are able to afford. As long as you have that second memory of using money wisely then when you make big money you're able to appreciate it more.

To be honest, I'm sick of reading that "money is nothing", "money is the root of all evil" and stuff here in the Economy  section of our forum. FFS, money is the blood of economy! Go and post that money is evil in some other places than bitcointalk, because Bitcoin is money itself.

But actually I am all for the freedom of speech, so I don't mind them posting trash about money here. Let them post anything they want. They just have to be ready for a reply from someone who disagrees with them.

That is life for you, people don't always appreciate the little they have. Human have that nature of not being grateful, but I pray we should learn to get the attitude to be grateful with everything we have around us.

It can sometimes prove to be counterproductive to be satisfied with whatever we have, because if our greed and desire just cease to exist, we will not make any technological or any type of advancements. But yeah, somewhere between being content and having the desire there should be a line of balance
