Hello Guyz, Polkadot Is One Of My Favourite Coin And I Am Damn Sure That In The Long Run Soon It Can Reach To Ethereum and Can Become Next Ethereum, But It doesn't mean it can Replace Ethereum. the situation of every coin in the market is not always the same bro aside ethereum and bitcoin coz for sure they were always on the top no matter what happen , but when it comes altcoin maybe we can't tell how long they will last in the market coz it's very obvious that nowadays mostly always struggling due to market conditions when there's a manipulation which is sometimes only popular coin can survive and maybe even those top coin and very trusted projects in the market has a potential to disappear without knowing imo.. So for me it's impossible unless ethereum really experienced a huge decline like what happened to bitcoin maybe there's a chance for them to over take.

Everyone knows that polkaDot is a popular token at this moment.Polkadot entered the 10 best  cryptocurrencies.Ethereum is second position in crypto market. Polkadot is good investment place in crypto currency  but it will never replace ethereum.

Polkadot may be good for investment, the price is also still cheap and continues to increase at this time. that means there is a nice increase in adoption in the market.
but to see as the next ethereum, it's too hasty. we need to learn more about their projects and platforms.

No more new ethereum, ethereum killer, or something else what you have called that as a competitor that will kill or replace ethereum. DOT has become an alternative chain for ethereum and it doesn't mean this project is potentially to be the next ethereum. This is just another gimmick and so many people were also delusional by calling DOT for the next ethereum.
Ether is just ether and it will never be replaced by another project.

Polkadot can rival price with ethereum, but it can't replace ethereum. Polkadot is a good token to invest in and this strong network, apart from that polkadot is growing a wide community. polkadot is designing a valuable future with trustworthy team performance.

this will still go a very long way for the development of Polkadot. we will never know what might happen in the future. but for DOT, I'm sure there will be tremendous developments in the future.
but ethereum is still been the strongest for a very long time.

There are a lot more coins better than PolkaDot and it is not close. Ethereum is the best option if you do not want to purchase Bitcoin for any reason but the better solutions to PolkaDot are still a long way off Ethereum.

Comment box? Where was this taken from? Is this some sort of polkadot shilling thing that people copy paste everywhere? I know that polkadot is great and all but it is obviously not as good as ethereum, not for now. What people are forgetting is that Bitcoin is number one without even having a proper blockchain just because it was the first one and early on everyone started investing into that and it got the most popularity.

Why did I talk about bitcoin on a topic about ethereum vs polkadot? Because ethereum is not only second and also most popular one after bitcoin, it also has amazing technological improvements constantly, it will even have eth 2.0 that will change a lot of things. So even if polkadot improves something just a bit, that still doesn't mean that it will surpass ethereum at all, we will definitely see ethereum staying at second rank for years to come.

Polkadot seems promising but it cannot replace ethereum this early, Binance BSC is one of the candidates for the ethereum's place but not just yet.

It will take time, more contribution from open-source and non-open-source developers and full support from crypto community is necessary for that to happen.

many statements and mentions a lot of coins to be one of the next ethereum. but in my opinion a coin can only be the next ethereum only from the price factor, because the price can be pumped by the market at any time. but for other factors it seems that it will not be easy because the position of ethereum is very potential in crypto and will not be easily displaced by any coin.

Okay, just live that trust and confidence, and let see what will happen 1 year from now. Sure mean SURE but in this crypto market, I can't see anything like that, not unless if it has proven already like Bitcoin and ETH, and you tried to compare Polkadot to known ETH, I would be saying that I hope you were right.

If I invest in Polkadot doesn't mean that I was comparing it to other coins (leading coins), I buy them because it has a gaining potential but the word I was SURE, we can't guarantee that thing, IMO.

At that time, Polkadot is very promising, but now it seems that the coin cannot rise up significantly. And Moreover, now there is Matic that is also considered as the next of Ethereum.

I also want to believe it, but there are a number of problems. I actively follow the Kusam testnet.
In a few months, 6 parachains have been added to this network and nothing is working yet.

A lot are aiming for the next ethereum, why not create their own path in crypto market? Also, better develop their platform first like attract many projects as they can. Because if the developers are happy with the network, word of mouth is a very powerful tool. So for me, don't chase to be the next ethereum, instead find ways how to serve better the crypto community, because you can make your own name without following someone's trail.

PolkaDot I have a much better token. However PolkaDot With Ethereum lagging behind in terms of popularity. We can see that Ethereum is in the second position among all the coins. And PolkaDot Coinmarketcap 9 is in the position. So if we consider from here, we can say that Ethereum cannot be thrown behind the PolkaDot.And although it takes the place of etherium, it takes a lot of time.

Obviously, Polkadot will take some part of the audience of the crypto community, but its technological functionality is still not ideal and is not able to replace the Ethereum blockchain, unlike the Near protocol blockchain. This project has much more chances of getting ahead of the ETH in the future, or at least getting closer to it. The only thing that separates these 2 projects that are trying to keep up with the Ethereum is capitalization Dot and Near

I don't think it's the right time to compare Polkadot with Ethereum. We all know about Ethereum and are aware of its growth. I am certain to such an extent that Polkadot has a potential future and this will be an esteemed stage into what's to come. By the way ethereum is not done yet, there are so many project ahead and it's too early to say polkadot will replace ethereum. Ethereum 2.0 is gonna launch soon after 6 years ethereum exist, does not rule out the possibility there will be ethereum 3.0 4.0 and so on in the future. The ethereum developers are great and they must have many good plannings ahead.
