I think the best answer for this question, probably it's because bitcoin is the very first asset in the market that until now still very promising and optimistic and for sure the way how it can make hype in the market despite of all the struggles, were the common reason why investor keep believing that there's a future on bitcoin, because indeed even though there are some new promising projects emerging in the market bitcoin still can cope to keep the rank, unlike those old coins that suddenly became weak and can't even compete in the market, for me the history of bitcoin itself is enough proof that it's worth it than other cryptocurrencies in the market in my personal opinion.

Its because it is proven that BTC has the highest security among other alt coins. It is the oldest coins out their and people are trading with it in decade already. So if you are new to it or if you are going to invest in it its better to invest in the one who is trusted by all crypto enthusiast.

more people adopting doesn't mean they know how bitcoin will stay safe.
someone believes in bitcoin because he is strong. and also market dominance trumps all altcoins. there is no altcoin as powerful as bitcoin. so people will not be fooled by bitcoin.

The answer to this is simple on my side. Bitcoin is the most trusted cryptocurrency because it has always been the number one cryptocurrency. And moreover, Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency in this market. Satoshi has an incredibly big place in people's hearts as he is the pioneer of this market in some way too I think. After Bitcoin was released, we saw so many altcoins being released also. But none of them managed to leave Bitcoin behind so far in terms of the price. As Bitcoin has always made people happy about long term investments too, people still trust it a lot.

Some really good points, I will make some points why BTC is superior to any other cryptocurrency 1- First in the market; BTC was the first cryptocurrency and there is nothing that can change it. 2- Anonymous; every crypto has its founders known in public but no one has a clue who Satoshi was 3- BTC is more valuable than other cryptos; Each halving the miner's reward is decreased to half which means more scarcity in future There can be 100s of other reasons but these 3 reasons are most important ones that make BTC superior to other coins. Simply because there are so many traders already earn a lot with bitcoin. We all know that it is real and not a scam. When it comes to rice, it is very high compare to altcoins but still it is very popular and a lot of investors continue to believe in bitcoin. |

True that. Bitcoin might not have the fuel to make those epic 100x to 1000x runs again but it serves a really good purpose and that's as a solid store of value. Bitcoin has really matured as an asset compared to what it was a few years ago when the adoption was just amongst a few thousands. Ideally, people tend to trust anything that has been around for a long time with any negative or bad history. |
