How will Ethereum survive without Vitalik?

Ever since Vitalik created Ethereum, the project has been on a road towards non-stop success. It's been around 6 years already with ETH being the world's second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap. Vitalik's skills and great mindset will keep the project afloat for a very long time. But sometimes I wonder what will happen with Ethereum without Vitalik in play? The community could keep the project alive, but without a genius mind like Vitalik Buterin, ETH will be one step behind of its rivals. At least, that's the way I see it. But I could be wrong.

Bitcoin has done just fine without the head of the serpent.  These projects are much bigger than just one person.  While Vitalik has been monumental for eth if he leaves then they will be just fine there are plenty of other talented developers that can keep it going.  Satoshi left bitcoin, Charlie left litecoin, etc etc.

Well, there is one other example that might give us a hint at what might happen to a coin without the creators support. One perfect example of this is when Satoshi Nakamoto suddenly disappeared and Bitcoin development was passed on to the other members of the developer's team. So I think the same thing will happen if Vitalik stopped continuing his participation in the development of Ethereum. I am pretty sure that Ethereum will survive without Vitalik.

This is a non sense question. OP you should try to understand what means of blockchain and how it works. Ethereum was a protocol and this can be considered as the decentralized chain. Vitalik plays nothing in this case except an ethereum developers that were contributing a lot to the development of ethereum protocol. That doesn't make sense to see the blockchain to be pegged with someone.

Vitalik isn't going anywhere I guess. He has made his billions with his pre-mine, all the forks and all the airdrops. He has a bigger stake in Ethereum than anyone else. So the question isn't that what will happen to Ethereum if Vitalik goes, the question is, what will happen to Vitalik if Ethereum goes, lol.

Vitalik raised money by selling Ethereum to people for at a rate of 1 BTC= 2000 ETH. That makes it a security and someone will have to own up to it. So Ethereum will basically become just another blockchain corporation with Vitalik being personally responsible for its ownership. Of course, this is not some horror outcome for Vitalik. Although, it definitely is as far as can be from being a decentralized blockchain.

As it is often said there are no irreplaceable people, so the team of Ethereum will definitely manage to maintain their product. Nevertheless, some people can lose trust in Ethereum that is why its price can drop.
I can compare it with Buffett's company Berkshire Hathaway. There are a lot of analytics that make all decisions, but in case of Buffet’s death, stocks of this company will drop.

Well, let's start with the fact that due to the openness of the ETH ecosystem, almost any developer can enter it with their developments. In addition, now there are many projects with cross-chain links between ETH and for example. Solana, Polygon, Near and others. He is not the only genius we have, and can they develop a team that will overlook the Ethereum technology, they have the funds to do it, so I don't think, there will be an issue when it comes to Vitalik leaving Ethereum, they are ahead of the competition right now so I'm sure they have this on their plan if ever Vitalik leaves Ethereum, they don't want the project go down when they have the support of a huge community.

The community will lead Ethereum the way they did with Bitcoin.  The success of Ethereum is to have added smart contracts to their project and created many valuable Daaps. Vitalik leads Ethereum and makes things better and faster. Without Vitalik, Ethereum would be chaotic and difficult to improve the source code because the project always has a conflict of interest between miners and the Ethereum core team.

Ethereum's success is inseparable from Vitalik's forward thinking in managing, ethereum has nothing in common with bitcoin, but he was able to make ethereum under one level with bitcoin, Vitalik proved successful in managing ethereum.

You can find many jokes about Vitalik Buterin on the forum, but this is the only person who did a lot to create a truly decentralized project.
Several hundred programmers around the world are developing updates for the mainnet and thousands of programmers are doing
applications on smart contracts.

While I understand the content of your post and the intention behind it because Vitalik is the most public figure of Ethereum, we shouldn't forget that behind the scenes there are several brilliants minds who are able to discuss most of the technical things on eye level with Ethereum. It is not that every line of code is based on Vitalik's last word. A lot of the code by now is the result of heavy discussion between a bigger circle of people who take responsibility for Ethereum's way forward. I do however agree that Vitalik is one of a kind, he probably can't be replaced 1:1, but that isn't necessary to keep Ethereum competitive throughout the future.

Vitalik already laid down the foundation and the roadmap of Ethereum, and part of it is creating a team that will oversee and continue the development of Ethereum and maintains their edge over the other projects, I don't think it's going to be the end of Ethereum if ever Vitalik decided to leave the project, a good developer and organization know that they can only move forward if they have fresh talent that they can recruit and train, Buterin and his team already knows all of this they have a contingency and future plan laid out.

Ethereum will definitely survive even without Vitalik, it's been developed for many years already and it will not be successful if only Vitalik is the one developing it. Like any business, the founder or the owner never last forever as we don't live with infinity, him as the CEO knows the time will come that he cannot be the CEO anymore, so he needs to make a plan to keep the project keep running even if he retires or dies.

What people are mistaking is that Vitalik was just a content writer back in the day, who happened to have a lot of bitcoins earlier on because of his timing and then he basically took over ethereum and thats it. He is not the king of ethereum or the only owner or operator or manager or president or anything of ethereum.

Ethereum is a decentralized currency and yes Vitalik does some stuff for it and if we like it then we follow him and accept his offers but that's it, we accept it. Yes Vitalik is a smart person.
he has such extraordinary abilities that he managed to take ETH to the top level in cryptocurrencies.
I believe that ETH without Vitalik is like a soldier without a commander in a war.
