Yes this is the effect of hard fork that usually happen before and during the fork, the price will stabilize after this one but i don’t think $5k is possible because we are not on a bull market. This update is big but not enough to push the price of ETH to its new all time high, maybe it will be more appreciated after months of the update, but not now.

If demand would neither sustain or even more then why not? Going another 100% wont really be that much of an issue or wont be a problem as the supply is becoming scarce
and the demand would even go higher then expect that it would really pump up and this is just really some simple economics bro.Thing here is that no one really knows on what

This is still big news in the last couple of weeks.The prices of o most all coins is raising due to this ETH hard fork.We can expect in the next couple of weeks that it breaks the 4000$ mark.But 5000$ should maybe come a month after that.

I really missed what you are talking about, i missed they day when ETH crossed $4k as i could see some articles saying it crossed in the past but i might have missed that movement completely and now the price has crossed $3k and still moving forward and it is solely because of the London Hard Fork and the network is really congested as i tried to send some coins a few hours back and i had to back peddle because of the higher fees.

Don't specifically say Ethereum like it's the only coin rising, other coins are rising too including bitcoin, what I can say is that the London hard fork is for sure one of the reasons ether is ahead in this bullish trend, but for that the London hard fork is the major driver, that I personally disagree, I hold a lot of coins on Binance chain and they are all going up, check coinmarketcap, only a very few ones are in red, the rest are green candlesticks

As for whether ether will reach 5k in few days now depends, I think it's possible only if the market continues to stay bullish for a good number of days or maybe weeks, but without this, I think 5k usd for 1 ether is still a bit farther than we think.

Sorry, I could not get what is burning $8k a minute? Really not aware of what such kind of process going on with ethereum network. Is this exactly same as burning procedure of what we do refer in crypto ecosystem?

Ethereum may value more than $5k in near future but I am not sure how those scheduled London hard fork will help but if bitcoin will keep increasing then we can easily expect ethereum to be valuing more along with bitcoin's higher value. I have always believed in the success of Ethereum since 2017 when I learned about it. Should we expect the price of ETH to rise? I think so, and of course, the update that came out influenced this. However, if you use ETH and follow the information about its development, you should have known about these events and that the price of ETH will definitely react. But if you are expecting a sharp rise in the price of ETH right now, then you probably won't see it. I believe that the growth in the price of ETH will be phased and by the end of 2021 we should see its peak. Of course, this is just my vision of the situation and the market may go according to a different scenario, but I adhere to this particular theory.

I dislike doing TA to calculate a price, but at the same time I respect the TA people because they at least put a reason behind their predictions. There are people who ended up spending so much money and bought 32 eth (maybe even less without doing anything) and because of that they are claiming that ethereum will be 10k or 20k or whatever and basically they are biased while predicting, it is not a real price prediction but more like their wish. So, all of those "it will be 100k per eth!!!" just sounds silly to me.

This is a good new feature and this new fork is awesome but I see this as a long term deal, I still hold all my eth and will keep on holding and I believe with 2.0 we are going to see a huge increase in price, that is the real thing that I hope to see.

Well, isn't impossible if Bitcoin price will also move high but it does not, that gives a fewer chance, I think. I can say this because the market is actually dependent on Bitcoin and if there are no pumps going to happen that impossible for ETH to make a rally alone,  I hope I was wrong but I don't tend to give false hope for all ETH holders.

Personally I don’t expect such a significant growth especially in cust short period of time, nevertheless I hope for the increase. Ethereum’s price has broken through a powerful resistance level which can indicate the recovery of the price even in the long term, and not just short-term fluctuations. So far the upgrades are going very well and it looks like Ethereum will soon move to the new PoS platform. If this transfer is also successful, I am sure that the ETH price will not only exceed the $5k level, but may even go as high as $10k

I can not write that off, in the cryptocurrency world it's the small things that make the difference,  if a simple tweet can make price to react to it what can stop a soft fork which  is more technical from influencing the price??
If you ask me I see the London fork being one of the reasons price of Ethereum is being bullish right now and SECs interest in crypto regulation could be another contributing factor.

- Supply has lost some numbers, demand will go through that to have a few changes but the number burned is still quite small and as a matter of common sense, small losses in supply only become important in times of scarcity and may occur in the future, hard fork burn rate will probably help ethereum more in the future, rather than short term effect. The recent movement is probably that bitcoin has been oversupplied with food and nutrition, it gradually transfers its reserves to altcoins as a good habit to avoid side effects

Since London hardfork established, more than 30.000 Ethereum was burned, and it will easily upgrade the price in the market. It's simple, if the amount of Ethereum in the total supply decreased, the price will automatically go up, in my opinion Ethereum price will hit $6k in the september, and will goes up probably $10k as close price in this year, i hope so.

It will happen but it need one hype news that make people buy it. Maybe 5k sounds too high in this current market condition, it could be there if BTC is going over 50k. But ETH climb to the high slowly but sure, just look at the chart last one week we could see ETH price is slowly going high and there will be one moment the price will jump a bit like 10% in near future

We know that everything is possible in the market of cryptocurrencies especially that in my opinion we are seeing a close repetition of the scenario that happened during 2017, so I think we are about to see a price increase during the final months of this year and this means that the maximum price that ethereum could reach during that time is unknown, however it is going to be heavily dependent on the price that bitcoin reaches as we now that ethereum has a tendency to follow the movements of bitcoin.

its good step to reduce ethereum supply and directly will effected to price it self, so far we know  ethereum has infinite supply and many people compain it and now by London upgrade i am believe it make investors be more confidence to hold ethereum for long term.

The current price of Ethereum is $3,276.13. This price is increasing day by day since the London harfork was held. Well, I agree that the price is increasing because the London hardfork, the momentum was so perfect and make the price going up in such a short time.
